I was supposed to be given a private room, they finally registered guests in my room without preview. The access to the shower, as well as the kitchen is reduced to nothing. Not to mention how rude and unfriendly they were. I do not recommend !

The front desk especially during night time is a bit chaos. Too many customers (especially Japanese) approached the desk concurrently as there is no queuing system. The food has too little choices and so don't expect too much for delicacy. Anyway, you can still have sufficient food to fill in your stomach. The location of the hotel however is wonderful... More

We came here as the hostel was recommended on the Lonely Planet guide. The nice lady at the reception told us that they didn't have any room left and she suggested us another place to stay but she offered us the tour they organise to the salar. We came back a few hours later to book the tour and then the... More

Well, we were a bit prepared for the grumpyness in Uyuni by the reviews of different hostals at tripadvisor. So we weren't surprised when the old lady was grumpy when we entered. The room looked nice and comfortable. A matrimonial for 120 Bs (shared everything). After we paid, there rules became clear. Take a seat when you read this because... More

AS HI members we have seen quite some HI hostels and though they are not always as good as the contract predicts you thnis was deffinitly the worst. We had a private room since all the dorms where full. When we showed our member cards they told us they never count for privates while we normally get a bigger discount... More

We arrived after a tour of the salt flats and just wanted to stay one night..... When we arrived no-one answered the door..... We stood around for 20 minutes banging on the door, ringing the bell and telephoning without any luck. We then went somewhere else as very unimpressed!

This place is the worst. Rooms are tiny and terrible. No electrical sockets in the rooms, there's a curfew, no communal area. The lady comes and knocks on the shower to tell you "times up" after only 4 mins. Stay elsewhere.

We arrived after a long day of travelling at 6pm to be greeted by a confused lady who didn't seem to be expecting us. We were 3 girls staying for 3 nights. Room seemed fine except we soon discovered there were no sockets and were then told the showers were switched off until 8.30 the next morning, much to our... More

We booked online thinking that being an HI hostel it would be nice, but it's not. When we arrived it took ages for anyone to open the door then inside we found the place to be dark and deserted with the water turned off and a sign on the shower door saying you need to ask the staff to unlock...
