You get there and you feel home - partly because there is almost nothing else in the middle of the desert but also because the couple running the hotel is just great. The hotel style is awesome, everything is well maintained, tidy, clean and very comfortable. Just see that you have a room with the window to the outside, that... More

After travelling on the dusty, rocky roads for a day, this hotel appears, hidden behind the rocks, almost in the riverbed. From the outside it looks very inauspicious. Once inside, everything changes. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are warm, the showers warm and the beds with more than enough blankets and duvets are great. Our room... More

Leaving from the border between Chile and Bolivia traveling to the magical Salar de Uyuni you pass through an unpaved road in a rocky desert, without meet a village (or an human) for few less than 200 km. So to find not only an hotel but a cozy place with all amenities, included internet, is like a mirage. After this... More

My group arrived here after a memorable day being driven in jeeps from the Bolivian border through the amazing coloured lagoons and volcanoes of the Parco Nacional Eduardo Avaroa. The hotel is attractively furnished in a rustic style and the rooms were very warm and comfortable. Plenty of piping hot water in the spacious bathroom. We were given a perfectly... More

Our guide led us to expect more of the hotel than it delivered. Perhaps we were just unlucky with our room, although another reviewer mentioned 'a funny smell' too! We tracked down the source of the smell and damp to a leaking cistern which the staff didn't seem to have noticed.... In fact, the floor and bathroom weren't as clean... More

Position: on the edge of a very small village, very quiet. Built into a cliff. Arrival: pleasant, helpful and welcoming. Common areas: chilly, fire lit but it did not extend it's heat too far. Nice decor. Room: small but comfortable bed with electric blanket, warm shower with plenty of hot water. Heating not on but came on at a certain... More

Very beautiful new hotel. Installed a bunch of new wood stoves. Nice vibrant colors. Great dinner - really good food. Very friendly hosts. They do whatever they can to make your stay great. We were all alone here in the hotel - not sure if there are a lot of other options for non backpackers. Would stay again. Recommend. Hotel... More

The host welcomed us heartily. At first view the room looked nice and warm but unfortunately the heating was broken and it was really really cold. They tried everything to fix it but it did not work out. In the end they brought us a electric blanket. The smell in the room was really odd, maybe spray, painting - I... More

Such an incredible lovely hotel. Built alongside a cave and facing a stream with the mountains behind, iris in a perfect rustic setting I was surprised how modern it was with all the conveniences the hotel had. We arrived very late from touring the area at 845pm. The Manager was quick to greet us and get get us settled in... More

This is a great place to stay if you are touring Eduardo Alvaroa National Park and Uyuni. We stayed here the second night of a four day tour that started in Tupiza. The water was super hot and plentiful and the electric blankets on the bed much welcomed after a long day at such cold altitudes. The accomodations were definitely... More
