I think you have to remember this is Bolivia, they are a pretty underdeveloped country and so you pay for what you get. The breakfast was simple (as it is everywhere in Bolivia), cold meats, yogurt, cereal, bread, jam etc. A good selection and as much as you wanted. The drawback to breakfast is it is on the bottom floor... More

Pros: - None Cons: - At the outskirts of Uyuni - The restaurant/breakfast room is located at a patio of the hotel, where all the room doors also are. This means that the noise from people having breakfast can be clearly heard in the room. The noise also resounds within the hotel. - Very limited breakfast: only marmelade and no... More

Its not far from town, but the 10-15 minute walk is flat. The most expensive place we stayed in Bolivia and rooms were not as good as the cheaper places. wifi works here which is a plus in uyuni, although it looks like a few places have good wifi now.

I stayed here before and after my trip to the salt flats. Uyuni does not have much to offer and this hotel is one of the better options. The rooms were larger than the average Bolivian hotel and reasonable nice. The breakfast was average. The water was hot some of the time. Not much English spoken at the front desk.... More

Stayed here before & after the Salt Flats expedition. The stay we had before was very below average, our room had a bricked up wall behind the window so no light at all & there was building works going on until past midnight! The stay after the salt flats expedition was better, we had a real window & not so... More

I stayed here for one night before an expedition to the Salt Flats. I think this hotel is the best of the worst in Uyuni. I don't have much to say about the town and there's really nothing to make you go back. It has potential. Given its location, its almost a mandatory stop for Salt Flats trips. Anyway, its... More

stayed here for one night as part of a GAdventures trip. Surprised at this hotel in the middle of nowhere. Modern and good size room. Shower was cold in the morning but suspect this was due to the demand for water at this hour of the day. Breakfast was sparse and staff slow to replenish bread etc as would bring... More

After staying in a horrid place in Potosi, I was expecting something just as basic in Uyuni, but to my surprise, this small family hotel was clean and quite new. The staff was very friendly, especially the young woman at the front desk. Breakfast was good and copious compared to other Bolivian breakfast I had been served in other establishments.

We stayed here as part of a tour before and after our trip to the salt flats, etc. The rooms were a reasonable size. The showers were hot to start with but by the time the third person used them they had turned cold. Breakfast was basic and not everything was replaced once it had run out. The breakfast courtyard... most importantly for me it was clean, not fancy, not large, but decent, price was ok , and breakfast was very fresh and nice, it is walking distance from the ATM and the main restaurants in town, there are 2 (slow) computers in the lobby but they will do.
