Very comfortable stay with nice and clean bed, toilet, shower, everything. Stayed here for 2 separate nights before/after our Uyuni tour. Since we had to leave early in both occasions, we were left with ready to go breakfast by Janet, Chris' wife. From the outside one couldn't imagine there's this hotel which has such a nice and charming interior, so... More

La Petit Porte is the right place to stay in Uyuni, I could not make a better choice. Hotel decoration is flawless, very cosy and charming. The room heating and the hot shower is a blessing, considering that Uyuni is very cold. After rough days tripping in the salt flats, getting back there was the rightest thing to do. The... More

This is a really beautiful hotel in downtown Uyuni. My husband and I stayed here for one night in July after taking a day tour of the Salt Flats. It's a little bit of a walk from the main drag, but not too far. Our room was very clean and comfy. The beds were great and the heating was wonderful... More

This place was amazing. By far the best place in Uyuni. David was more than helpful towards us. He was an amazing person. His English is not the greatest, but it's way better than my Spanish. The breakfast was amazing. The smoothie was delicious. The rooms were excellent. The showers were hot and that is exactly what we wanted when... More

When you arrive , al you see is these typical small and very low doors. once inside you realize that you are in avery nice small hotel that has all you need. the whole area is heated and the rooms are very nice, probably one of the nicest surprises are excellent showers, this is something hard to find in the... This hotel was a haven after freezing for several nights in other hotels. It was the only place I stayed that had true heat, rather than a space heater. So nice to take an amazing shower and be warm. You do need to book ahead and pre-pay, and when arriving at the little door, are worried. But once inside it... More

We had booked this hotel after reading the rave reviews about Christophe and the service. Our experience with the new manager, David, was below expectations. We arrived in the evening after touring the salar and within a minute of checking us in, David wanted to leave. We had an early flight to La Paz the next morning and he informed... More

Well It has been a long time before a bad comment! As Tripadvisor let me the opportunity to give an answer (and thank you for that), I will do it. The lady is wrong (not to say lying) from the title. The hotel did not change ownership. I am still the owner (I am Christophe by the way). I just... More

When you ring the doorbell, you don't know what to expect but as you walk through the small wooden doors, you enter a tranquil paradise. The patio is covered in glass so you feel as if you are outside in the sun without the biting cold. Rooms are exquisitely designed and extremely comfortable. Showers are wonderful. Breakfast is out of... More

We spent two nights here before we start our three days trip to the Salar De Uyuni. The room was spacious with a beautiful set up, and a very efficient heating system. Due to the cold weather at the hotel's patio, the breakfast was served at the room as per the choices we made. Christophe was so attending during the... More

Clean and stylish lodge. Very passionate and helpful host, plus many DVD selection! Took a thorough rest in this lovely place after a tired long day in the salt flats. I'm sure it's the best choice to stay in Uyuni.
