Ridiculously overpriced is right. This outdated hotel is not worth even half of what they charge nightly. The rooms are old, the bathrooms moldy, and the service unfriendly. Save your money and choose anywhere but here.

Positives: Was close to main square, ATM, bus terminal and laundry (as are most places - Uyuni is TINY), Kept our luggage while we were on a 3day/2night salt flats trip, Good pizza in on-site restaurant, Main female owner was quite helpful. Negatives: Arrived to find no one on the front desk at 9am (there never seemed to be anyone... More

Well I think we had one of the better rooms in the 'new block' which didn't look particularly new actually. Some of the other rooms on the ground floor, supposedly the original, looked very pokey. Our room was one of extremes - very elaborate in some ways but shabby in others. For example an elaborate white porcelain toilet with an... More

Nice and charming hostel with big rooms, a lot of picturesque elements. The shower was really hot (likely depending number of concurrent people showering). There was enough heating available. And nice enough bar available. Service was fine.

I felt this hotel was badly underrated so thought I'd give it a review based on our experience there. We stayed for 1 night. The room we had was massive with 2 double beds. Loads of radiators so heat was not an issue and hot water present in the shower. There was no breakfast included but we didn't miss it,... More

We stayed here at the end of our Uyuni tour (if you want to know more about the tour then click here for a detailed overview-http://www.goalsettinggirl.com/3-day-2-night-uyuni-salt-flats-tour/ ) We actually loved it more than our first night's stay in Tambo Aymara. because we were 4 we ended up with 2 big rooms with queen bed in each room connected by a... Stayed here twice, before and after a three day Salt Flats tour; had the same room each time. Winter was just two weeks away, but heat was non-existant. Shower panels were broken, causing bathroom to flood and never dry out. On first stay, no soap provided. Only one small towel during both nights. On the positive side, the bed was... More

I stayed here one night after the three day tour of Uyuni. The service is okay, there is internet in the lobby, and the room was big. I was looking forward to a nice hot shower, but the shower pressure in my room was weak, so it was not very enjoyable. I really don't know the quality of other hotels... More

We stayed here after our three-day salt flats tour and were really tired and needed some comfort. This hotel was perfect. Yes it is expensive for Bolivia but we thought it was worth it. The decor is really nice, the bed was soft and warm and had an awesome armchair and bay window in the room. The shower was hot... More

Wanted to charge us $70US for a night, likes the look of the room with antique beds, so thought we'd go for it. No hot water in shower, no working wifi. I realize this is Bolivia and both wifi and hit water can be hit and miss....but 70 US should guarantee it, as that was more than we paid in... More
