Great hotel, probably the best in town from what we've seen. As for their 4x4 tours in Sud Lipez, until the Uyuni salt lakes, we can only recommend! We had much more food than other tours, we managed to avoid crowds by starting from Tupiza, and the driver and the cook really took great care of us. Excellent!

Lovely hotel with nice sunbathing area and (very cold) pool. Really nice buffet style breakfast with scrambled eggs and pancakes. Lovely bedroom with OK bathroom. Stayed for two nights, room not cleaned during the day.

Usually we stay in hostels, but it was nice to have a hotel for a night before our 4 day salt flats tour. The only reason I gave this place a 4/5 is because when we called the night before to reserve a room the front desk bluntly informed us that all the rooms were full. However, we found availibility... Because it was pretty hot when we're in Tupiza, we asked if we could use the pool from this hotel (in which we didn't stay)! They allowed and it surprised us how beautiful and nice the hostel was. Like being in south spain on holiday haha. They told us it was 70 Bolivianos incl wifi, hot showers and breakfast, which... More

This was a well set up hotel. A bit fancier than we're used to, but it was a nice treat. The pool was perfect after a hot day horseriding. The breakfast was AMAZING. The joining travel agency was good too. My only complaint would be that the staff weren't very friendly, but i'm used to staying in hostels so maybe... More

The hotel is a bit overpriced, but the breakfast is nice, the pool is amazing and the private suites are worth it. It has internet access and is very well kept, also very close to the train station. There is little to do around the hotel, we only stayed before heading out on a Salar tour.

I stayed here twice, once before the salt flats tour and once after. The pros are that the rooms are clean and there is hot water. The staff generally seemed a bit disinterested in answering any queries about the area. The Wifi was woeful so dont expect much on that front. The bedrooms are always freezing cold even during the... The hotel is relatively good : the rooms are pretty good, if nothing fancy. The hotel is mostly clean. The breakfast is a buffet and more than sufficient. This is the hotel where the main agency of Tupiza (Tupiza Tours) is located. However, comparing to other hotels we went in Bolivia and northern Argentina, it was significantly overpriced. Furthermore, the... More

Hotel Mitru is very much of a Backpackers Hostel, so it is not the very best choice if you´re looking for a calm and silent stay. You will have bunches of young american and french people staying there, this will be a problem if you want a stay that is calm and quiet. The room we've had was very clean... More

This is a decent option for a night, but a bit expensive for what it was, in comparison to other places we stayed in Northern Argentina and Bolivia. The room was clean, though extremely cold at night. The shower was hot though. Breakfast was good. Wifi was terrible - it was so slow it was unusable (and I am patient!)
