This is a decent option for a night, but a bit expensive for what it was, in comparison to other places we stayed in Northern Argentina and Bolivia. The room was clean, though extremely cold at night. The shower was hot though. Breakfast was good. Wifi was terrible - it was so slow it was unusable (and I am patient!)

We turned up at the hotel at around 4am and the lovely concierge gave us blankets and let us sleep in the lobby on sofas. Our room was nice, if a little chilly, and the en suite shower was powerful and hot. Breakfast was nice and laundry service speedy! The pool however, was in no way heated

Nice big room with private bathroom - shower was powerful and hot in the middle of the day. Clean with comfortable beds, but you could hear noise from others rooms pretty clearly. Easily walkable from the bus station and right in the middle of this small town. Pool area was nice to sit out in (even though the pool was... More

we booked the cheapest twin room with seperate bathroom. the bath is a little small and cold as well as only once a day cleaned but the rooms are very fine for the price with tv and enough space to store backpacks. the breakfast is plentyfull, we even had pancakes once! pool is well maintained.

Like many others we stayed here as we were using Tupiza Tours, based on the ground floor in front of the hotel. After some confusion when we checked in (the man at reception struggled with the concept of three people having two rooms - one single room, one matrimonial - even with a spanish speaker in our group) as we... We chose Mitru because we were using Tupiza Tours, which owns the hotel. Nothing special. Rooms were basic. Pool was nice but it looks like the hotel allows people not staying there to use the pool so the number of backpackers smoking, drinking and sunning at the pool did not make it a family friendly environment. The courtyard is nice... More

we stayed here for 2 nights before heading to uyuni. It was just great - this was one of my best hotels/ hostels during my entire stay in Argentina and Bolivia, it was clean, it was friendly, it had a pool, had a great breakfast and it had an awesome view from the roof top. tupiza is not big, so... Average breakfast, below than average room kind of offset by the garden/pool. No wifi in the room only At reception. The location is nice though (Central) and the shower was clean. Service was OK but I wouldn't say friendly. I've heard hotel La torre is better.

We stayed here 2 nights. Lovely hotel, clean and quiet. Good staff. Good swimming pool. Nice town. Very interesting area. Well worth a visit. The associated Tupiza Tours organised us an excellent 4 day Salar trip. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for four days in October last year as we wanted to stay somewhere with a pool to make the most of the sun. The poolside area was great and well kept however the rest of the hotel was average at best. Rooms and bathrooms were very basic but they can obviously charge more money because people want... More
