I choose Killa because of its good reviews, but it seems that this led the owner to stop attending to quality of maintenance as well as to staff training and performance: During my recent stay: 1. One out of the two heaters in the room (#12) was out of order, so the room did not really warmed up until the... More

When driving along RN-68 from Salta through the colored sandstone and rock formations of the Quebrada de Cafayate you might think you’ve entered another world. Eventually you reach the green of the high vineyards and then enter the small colonial town of Cafayate along RN-40. Hotel Killa (moon in Quechua) is located one street (Colon) past the main square, Plaza... More

We stayed at Killa for 2 nights and really liked the hotel. The garden is amazing and the hotel looks really nice. It is in the center if Cafayate and everything you need is directly around the corner. The breakfast is good - a big variety of bakery, cornflakes, fruit salad. The room (el paso) was big and clean but... More

We stayed two nights at Hotel Killa Cafayate in room 12 in mid-May 2015. This was a great choice for Cafayate: centrally located, several nearby restaurants, kioscos, and the central plaza. The rooms were very clean and so comfortable. The wifi in this room worked very well. We used the heaters in the evenings and slept very well. Breakfast was... More

This cute place is tucked back behind the square. Lovely grounds and really good linens plus a really, really good breakfast including expresso. Lovely hosts and the added benefit of a relationship with the Estancia de Cafayate where there is tennis, golf, horseback riding and a spa.

One of the finest stops of many along route 40. The hotel is a block off of the main square so the location is perfect. Our room was quiet and charming.. touches of tile, antique wood arches, and wooden furniture will appeal to your inner gaucho. Our lesser expensive room on the bottom floor was perfect, but I did go... More

One of the most gorgeous hotels we have ever stayed at. Our room (16) was so incredible, we had to add an extra night there. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the owner is wonderful. The hotel is close to some great wineries and the city square. Highly recommended and can't wait to visit Killa and Cafayate again.

We're still on our 14,000+ kms road trip around Argentina and Hotel Killa was perfect. We dipped in the welcoming pool on a hot afternoon and we were just a block from the main square, which is, of course, the heart beat of the town. A little bit of confusion on the price. We were quoted the cash price and... More

Hotel Killa Cafayate Argentina Aside from comfortably appointed rooms with excellent beds, functioning and reasonably quiet air conditioners, and a well organized bathroom, the Hotel Killa features a wonderful garden with a host of plants native to the area. If you have a chance talk to the gardener who can provide detailed information about each one of his “children”; he... More

We stayed for one night. The hotel has a beautiful garden. The breakfast was good. The owner speaks fairly good English. The rooms were clean, large and well taken care of. We stayed on the ground floor. The shower, bath and A/C worked well. We had excellent WiFi reception in the room. The location is good, just behind the town... More
