We LOVED Cafayate. Such a tranquil, beautiful place. (And we never went to the wineries. Just hiked, biked and relaxed.) And the Villa Vicuna helped enhance the experience. A lovely inn; very peaceful courtyard; nice, large room; good breakfasts; use of free bikes, etc. The only "but" is the staff does not speak English so you need a modicum of... More

This little B'nB is quite close to the main plaza in Cafayate. It is clean, quiet and quaint with wi-fi available in courtyard outside our room. The bathroom shower was amazing, towels soft and luxurious. We appreciated all the "goodies" like shampoo, etc. in complimentary little bags for each guest. Nice touches in room decor helped to set this small... More

Centrally located hotel, small but comfortable. Very clean with efficient staff. Rooms well appointed and everything worked well. Breakfast was the usual Argentinian style with lots of sweet things, very little protein. Not sure why the preference for count chocula, fruit loops and sugar frosted flakes look alikes...where is the all bran? also great variety of cake and cookies for... More

A hotel that charges USD130 per night cannot afford not to have decent internet in their rooms, definitely not nowadays when internet acess is an essential and certainly when there is no excuse as the hotel sits in the town center so there are no connections problems. Also, one of the nights there were hotel workers (or their relatives?) shouting... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's conveniently located just off the square in Cafayate and the hotel has lots of character. The staff were friendly and the breakfast included cereals, pastries, fruit salad and cheese. We also enjoyed the area just outside our room to sit on the balcony overlooking the patio. Overall, we were very pleased.

My wife and I stayed here during our four day tour of Salta. That means that the hotel was chosen by the tour operator, not by us directly. All in all we were very happy with their choice. The hotel is very clean with quality decor and facilities. Service was very good, though the staff don't speak English, and the... More

The staff were particularly pleasant and went out of their way to insure that our stay there was restfull. the hotel is within walking distance of the center of Cafayate and their was no concern for having anything stolen from our car which was parked just outside the hotel. The area is absolutely gorgeous and because I speak Spanish we... More

This hotel has 2 interior gardens with rooms around it on 2 floors. The room had two big beds with a very nice shower, toilet separate from the sink and they even had bathrobes. The best of it was the interior patio with suspended torrontes grapes that they offer at the big buffet breakfast the nest morning, to be eaten... More

This B&B is very well maintained and very clean. The beds are super comfy, linens are soft, and everything in the bathroom is meticulously clean except for one spot of mold in a corner of the shower door. The water pressure in the shower itself was fine, although not particularly strong. The breakfast was your typical Argentine fare, and the... More

Truly a gorgeous building with a lovely courtyard, flowers, art work, balconies, rich woods, luxurious bathrooms, a great bar, right off the main plaza. Unfortunately, the woman at reception made us feel like we were imposing on her by checking in. Our lack of Spanish and her lack of English may have contributed to the problem, but this was not...
