Nice and rustic B&BS. Very near the plaza and the bedrooms are spacious, clean and characteristic. The only draw back was the tiny shower. It wasn't easy taking a shower in a half a meter square shower. But the owner or manager was By helpful and friendly.

Very pleasant posada. Nice soundings. However, avoid room no 1 – two singles, which reminded me of a backpacker’s hostel. It’s a dark room and at the time of my visit full of mosquitos! Wow, this is such a beautiful place! Very nice old buildings, beautiful gardens, a small pool, clean and spacious rooms, great breakfast and welcoming staff. I can't think of anything negative about this place. Maybe the price, but you get a lot of value for your money.

Wonderful gardens and patio areas. Rooms are pleasant, clean and comfortable. Owner provided many helpful local tips. Location perfect for everything that would be of interest to the visitor. Value for money is excellent!

We stayed for three nights at this charming and characterful hotel. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. We stayed for two nights in Cafayate, a wonderful town. The Vieja Posada had the most beautiful room.
