Brilliant gastronomy, great wine. Very good hotel nicely connected with the environment and the Salta class. Scenery is unique and the Hôtel isle leverages the landmark in the best way for the most relaxing holidays.

We stayed two nights at this venue as part of a hiking group walking through area vineyards. This is a first class hotel with subdued elegance. The ambiance is classic, artful and genuine, not something crafted by some stage architect "outplaced" last year from Disney World. Stay here, relax, enjoy the wine and relish.

We stayed at the hotel on our way from salta to cachi. The hotel has the perfect mix of colonial and luxury, excellent restaurant and next door to Esteco winery. We stayed at other two colonial style hotels during our trip, including manantial del silencio in Purmamarca and Hacienda Molinos in Molinos and although we would return to all three... More

Just outside the city, if you can afford the extra bucks I recommend this place highly. The rooms the lobby the facilities are incredible. The draw backs, and this goes to the management is about the reception. From the car to the hotel, if you have heavy luggage, you will need someone to help you. There is a few meters... More

This hotel is beautifully situated on the El Esteco winery. The setting in the valley with mountains surrounding and well manicured grounds (with resident llamas) are beautiful (though pool chair maintenance an issue - daily cleaning a must!). Rooms are very large and well appointed. We had an excellent dinner including tempura vegetables, pumpkin ravioli and vegetable risotto (they grow... More

The house, garden, pool is very nice and stylisch! So the expecations for a high level stay were high also! But the major disappointment was the Manager himself. Dressed in Shorts and old T-shirt already his appearance was not in line with the level of the Hotel. He did not present himself or welcome the guests. At dinner he run... More

Actually, Patios de Cafayate is a beautiful Spanish-style hacienda, the former home of the Michel Torina family, founders of El Esteco Winery in 1892. Thirty-two bedrooms with private baths surround courtyards and elegant gardens of colonial beauty in what today is a luxury boutique hotel. Enjoy the peaceful serene environment of this hotel and winery set amidst 1,000 acres of... More

This is a beautiful location, but restaurant should be avoided. In short: Money: After our bill came, we decided to pay cash. I counted it twice (with my friend) and after we left she said I was short $100 and had me pay again. Watch your money here. First time I've felt scammed in Argentina and was surprised it was... We had such excellent memories of a stay here five years ago. This time we were disappointed. The property is of course in an excellent location if you want (you should !) drive one of the most impressive roads in Argentina but the offer is expensive for what it is, service and restaurant fare are quite average to say the... Hoorah! - I had to ask - they didn't advertise the fact on a menu or anything, but I was made an omlette at breakfast so I didn't have to eat sugar sugar and more sugar. This Argentinian hotel would get an 'excellent' for that reason and the fact it is actually a delightfully designed place, were it not for... More
