Lovely place to stay for a solo traveller wanting to unwind and explore this beautiful little town. Livia was so helpful!!! She wanted you to simply enjoy your stay and was happy to share her knowledge of the things to do & see, especially important as I had limited time there. The accommodation was clean, the bed was really comfortable... More

This small B&B is a true gem! Well located, convenient to everything in Cafayete, clean and well maintained. Livia, the owner, couldn't be nicer than she is! She obviously loves people and is very friendly. She is very knowledgeable about the area. We have really enjoyed this place.

La Tranquera is located just off of the main road in cafayate. Within walking distance there are several bodegas, restaurants, shops and the wine museum. The owner is a lovely lady who welcomed us as if we were family. She gave us plenty of ideas of places to go during our stay. The room we stayed in was the one... More

This accommodation surpassed expectations despite having read reviews before booking. The room was very well presented and very clean. It had everything that was needed. The location was perfect; in easy walking distance of everything in the town. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also included.

Livia couldn't have been more welcoming and hospitable if she tried. Speaking perfect English, she gave us loads of information about the area: where to go, what to see, etc. Her home is only one block from the main square and restaurants and a few blocks away from 2 really nice bodegas where we went to try some wine! We... More

Stayed at the hostel for 5nights and we loved the place there.the room was really nice and spacious, we had a heather /aircon we could use for free. Best thing on our room was our lovely place /table infront of our room where we could sit outside, enjoying the sun and sipping a fine glass of cafayatte red wine...great outdoir space... More

A charming, small B&B one block from the central plaza was the perfect accommodation for this Spanish-challenged couple, as hostess Livia speaks perfect English. Livia picked us up at the bus terminal in her car, a few blocks away from La Tranquera. She has a wealth of knowledge about her tiny community, Cafayate, and answered all of our questions. Her...
