My husband and I stayed one night in a fireplace room in the lodge at the Red Apple Inn. The rooms on the top floor have been remodeled and the results are modern and comfortable. The fireplace is gas log and open to the large bedroom. The north-facing rooms overlook a wooded area and have a reasonably-sized deck. The bathroom... More

This place is like stepping back in time of the 60's and 70's. Green tile in bathrooms and all. The staff is the nicest and goes out of their way to make your stay a pleasure. Did I mention it is a golfers dream????

Thank you for your kind words regarding your recent stay and our staff and the golf course. Since you were staying with us as part of the Bouffant's (who performed for our sell-out New Year's Eve party), you were obviously given one of our Heritage Rooms as part of your contract. Hopefully, you were able to see our newly renovated... More

They have just remodeled 30 of the rooms. I have been to this property fall and spring for the last several years and always enjoy my stay. It is an older property, and the remodeled rooms are a definite improvement. The staff is most accommodating. The breakfast menu is my personal favorite for the dining room. There is a limited... To me, one of the best times of the year to visit Red Apple Inn is in the fall. Leaves changing, beautifully decorated, fireplace at night. We visited recently and were unsure whether the fireplace room we reserved would be renovated (boutique) or not (heritage). To our surprise and enjoyment, the room was completely renovated with light paint and new... More

Thank you so much for your recent review. We are so pleased you like the new renovated rooms. Fall is probably one of the best times to visit the Inn. The Island and our property is covered in Maple trees and they are just about at their peak. We look forward to your return visit. More

This was my first visit to the Red Apple Inn. Immediately when I walked in I could tell this used to be a pretty fabulous place. But now it has a feel of trying to maintain that same reputation but is weary. It has that "old" house smell. The floor is unlevel along the hallway leading to meeting rooms. The... More

Thank you for your recent review. Hopefully you noticed that we are in the middle of a complete room renovation project. We have completed 1/3 of the rooms, will begin the next 1/3 in December and complete the project in 2014. Due to the age of a lot of our rooms and being in the middle of renovating, we have... More

My boyfriend and I stayed a night at the Red Apple Inn. We had a fireplace room and we were both very pleased. It was a great night of sitting in front of the fire with a glass of wine relaxing from the week. Large charming room with exposed rocks and a balcony that overlooked the wooded area. The area... We spent three days at the Red Apple Inn. The staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. The dining was the finest in Heber Springs. Definitely try their prime rib. Beautiful location, convenient parking, excellent in every way. We will definitely be returning in the Winter, and we look forward to becoming life-long guests.

Beautiful property. They have both hotel rooms and cabin like single units. I think most of the pics posted here belong the single units. The hotel room I stayed was renovated. New furniture and paint with rustic design. Loved them. The restaurant was very nice. Food was excellent. Service was very good too.
