We spent 6 nights at this lodge in September 2014. What an experience !! WOW !!. Great lodge with wonderful people. Reasonably priced compared to other game lodges with similar services. Each chalet had its own plunge pool. We didn't use it because it was cold outside. Comfortable beds and a large tub in the bathroom. Didn't have much interaction... More

The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating with our two very busy 3 & 5 year old kids they went the extra mile allowing us to enjoy some much needed down time. The quality and variety of the food was outstanding and the whole experience was just extra-ordinary, we were able to get separate game drives just with the kids... More

A Lodge built sympathetically with the surroundings but in need of a refurb. Wonderful outlook over the Falls and some spectacular panoramic views on the Game drives. Big 5 on the reserve and opportunity for other outdoor entertainment for example Bass fishing. The food and service were consistent with the cost but could not be regarded as first class. The... My boys and I spent three nights at the lodge. We had a beautiful room overlooking the falls with a massive wrap around verandah. The views over the falls is lovey while you relax from the room watching the various animals come down to drink. Thanks go to Jabulani our ranger and Jabu our tracker. My boys and I enjoy... More

We visited Mkuze in May 2014, staying in the lodge with our three children. The setting is spectacular. The service impeccable. The food and hospitality terrific. Jabulani, our guide is great at his job and a wonderful human being. Showered outside under the stars as the lions roared in the distance... It was awesome.

I haven't many words to describe this perfection, we stayed in the luxury tented camps whilst my parents stayed at the lodge. Our every whim and desire was catered to. We had spit braais and drinks in the evenings with the majestic roars of lions in the background. Absolutely breathtaking. From the rooms, to the food, to the carcass at... More

We have been fortunate to travel to many parts of the world but have to say that this holiday was absolutely fabulous from the moment we left Durban to drive to Mkuze. The only drawback was our initial meeting at reception, but once she left us at our rooms - everything was perfect from that moment forward. The rooms are... More

We were so lucky - it was low season and we were the only guests so we had the entire lodge and staff to ourselves. Game drives were excellent, we saw so much and we were taken on a walk as well. The rangers were knowledgable about the birds and trees as well as the animals and made every effort... More
