Good hotel in a wonderful country. Located in the south of Morocco, this hotel offers good quality (close to the quality required by European citizens) with a small touch of berbers tradition. Restaurant is good and it is possible to have dinner and breakfast also near the swimming pool... But a little bit of more lights in the night should... More

We had visited Tafraoute before, but had not stayed in this hotel. It is by far the best option in the town, having good facilities and a beautiful view. Liesbeth who runs it is friendly and helpful and will contribute lots of ideas of things to do. The pool is great and there are plenty of loungers. Breakfast and dinner... More

my friend and I stayed on night at chez Amaliya. The service was ok, felt like they were a bit bored when we came but otherwise very friendly. the rooms were super clean. breakfast was amazing, diner not the best we had, but good. the kasbah has a great view to the lion head and a nice pool to cool... Reservation, welcome and communication with/by the owner/manager Liesbeth is characterized by friendliness and helpfulness. The auberge has a nice spacious and well thought out architecture, is beautifully situated in the beautiful surroundings, and is fully equipped. The terrace has beautiful vegetation, a nice large pool, lovely views of the surrounding area and a large Berber tent with lovely cushions to... More

Booked for two nights, stayed for three, and still wished that It could have been longer. Liesbeth was the perfect hostess, always ready to spend time chatting, and ensuring that her high standards are met by her staff. My room was comfortable, with a view over the Ammelne Valley. It was cleaned daily and the bed made, not always the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and found everything to our satisfaction. We had a junior suite which was quite roomy with a pleasant little sitting area. However, it was nice to sit at the tables by the pool too. The pool was very cold according to my husband but also "refreshing". Liesbet was very friendly and gave us information... More

We had five nights here in February. It was snowing on the dramatic peaks behind the kasbah when we arrived but it soon warmed up to 25C! Delightful staff, Liesbet is charming and full of knowledge and helpfulness. We had wonderful walks in the area - over the mountains to Tafraoute is a two hour delight. We hired a car... More

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a group tour. There are stunning views of the surrounding mountains, but I felt that 4km was a little too far from the lovely town of Tafraoute for anyone without independent transport. The pool (made interesting by the presence of water boatmen) is a bonus in hot weather, and I'm guessing... More

We had the pleasure to stay for three nights in this lovely hotel. Most of all we were impressed by the proffesionality of the staff and the owners. Tafraoute is a perfect place to explore the region by yourself but it definetely helps if you get some good suggestions. Every morning from 7-10 Liesbet was "at your service" at the... More
