We arrived at the hotel soaking wet after a 4 hour boat ride in the pouring rain. What a pleasure it was to have a hot bath and shower in a spotlessly clean room. The staff were friendly and helped us sort out another Air Madagascar flight change. There is a very nice terrace restaurant where we had some delicious food served... More

We stayed at this hotel on 7th August 2014 on our way back from Ile Sainte Marie, the room was nice, the food was good and service friendly. However, our flight back to Antananarivo was not until 7pm so we left our bags in the hotel's locked baggage room and when I went to get my Kindle when we got... More

Just stayed here one night while on the road and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, comfort, good food and friendly service. Would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in that part of the world again.

Stayed here on our way to Sainte-Marie island. Didn't expect to much but were really impressed. The room was excellent as we're the staff. They heard it was our honeymoon so gave us massage each and dinner on them. Very impressed. If you go to tamatave definitely stay here.

I travel regularly through Tamatave on business and have stayed at various hotels in the city. this is one of the best with excellent facilities and good food. Service is top notch and the fact that all attendants speak good English makes a huge difference.

We only stayed one night but it is an amazing hotel. Great rooms. Friendly staff. The food was fantastic in fact world class. The Maître de was exceptionally helpful. We were even entertained by a rather loud self centred American women who was on the phone to her travel agent moaning about the people she was travelling with. They were... More

Feature Clean, well-run hotel with some nice surprises Positives Very well run, very clean. Excellent food - among the best I had in Madagascar. Mosquito nets on the room doors not just on the bed. So could relax without mosquitos in the room - v. rare in Madagascar. Good wifi. Neutral Staff a bit rulebound. "Management says we can't give... More

A safe and comfortable choice in Toamasina, definitely a higher standard than I expected overall. Very unexpected spa, indoor pool and well equipped gym in the basement. Treadmills, cross trainers, benches, free weights, a wide range of machines. Friendly gym monitor there to spot your bench press. Unexpected English-speaking staff and very new and modern elevators, rooms, TVs, aircon. Excellent... More
