We spent just one night here in Antsirabe and would have loved to spend more time here. From the street, it doesn’t look like much but behind the gates is a lovely property. Our room was in a brick bungalow type structure with plenty of space, a sitting area outside in the gardens and large bathroom. We had dinner and... More

The rooms are set around a small courtyard and is a very picturesque setting. The room was clean and the bathroom more than adequate. The food was good both at dinner and breakfast. The only negative I found was the unhelpful female reception staff, but apart from that small detail it was a great stay.

This was a welcome place to stay after a night in the rain forest. Rooms are large, and clean. They have the feel of great history with lots of wood accents. Restaurant on site, which is on the upper end scale, but nice feel with fireplace. Overall, nice hotel with many resources for travelers.

We stopped for one night here. The hotel is set in pretty and quiet gardens, very peaceful. We had a large suite which was nicely decorated with a spacious bathroom, everything worked well. Even a kettle and cups which was thoughtful. There was a furnished patio outside the room. We had a very good dinner, with nice wine. The public areas are very... More

This hotel was just lovely! The rooms are comfortable and finely decorated. The cuisine is delicious and very delicate. There is a fireplace next to the restaurant where you could have a fresh beer before your meal. The little boutique is very nice and sells beautiful objects from the region. And the service is flawless.

it doesn't have the colonial charm of the hotel des thermes, but the rooms with the fireplace and large bathroom are very comfortable. the extra-large bed is also very pleasant. nicely kept. dinner is good, breakfast is basic. the town doesn't have much to offer in itself and it's just an overnight rest place on the journey to other locations.

This hotel was such a lovely surprise in this area. Definitely a boutique hotel and a complete surprise after entering the gates. A gorgeous, clean, blissful haven of tranquility and cleanliness. Charming beautifully designed and decorated bungalows each with their own fireplaces and spacious bathrooms all with Wifi looking onto a courtyard in a lovely secure setting. Good value for... More

This hotel was a lovely surprise, an oasis in the middle of a city. Charming bungalows set within a lovely garden. The hotel staff are helpful and the food was some of the best we had in Madagascar. The menu was in French but one of the waiters helped us translate. As it can be cool in the evening, a... More

This was my favourite hotel of the whole trip, and that takes some doing, considering the natural beauty some of the others have surrounding them. It was also by far the best value for money we had anywhere. Couleur Cafe is very much close to the middle of the city and a complete surprise once you enter the gates. It's... More
