I booked directly with delta safaris, the owner of camp moremi and camp okavango. 2 days for usd 2400. When I arrived at the camp I was offered a plate of salads and cold meat. I thought it is a good starter but they said that was all I got since they do not prepare a hot meal for lunch... more

Camp Moremi is at the edge of the Okavango Delta, with just a few very "classy tents" you are completely surrounded by the wonderful diversity of wild life and birds that makes this part of the world famous. Can you imagaine coming across a pride of Lions only 10 minutes from the camp gate, with their fresh kill (young buffulo... more

From the moment we arrived the staff at Camp Moremi were absolutely wonderful and attentive. They were very friendly, made us feel comfortable and at home the two nights we were there. The food was always delicious and they always offered my friend who doesn't eat red meat an extra dish. Not only did we see tons of animals from... more

As others have noted, the staff is very friendly and very attentive. Excellent managers at the camp. Food was outstanding. Do go out on the water as much as possible. The birds are amazing. The camp had the nicest environment of the five camps where we stayed with most buildings built off the ground. You really will not believe you... more

This camp is very well maintained, everything looks brand new even though it is one of the oldest in the delta. The camp is right on the Xakanaxa lagoon inside the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta, it has a viewing deck with very nice views over the lagoon. The atmosphere in camp is relaxed, and although proper attention... more

Camp Moremi was one of the best lodge experiences that we had, and it is interesting to reflect how this lodge delivered, although it is not five star. But it is very professionally managed, and the staff are so enthusiastic and friendly that it makes all the difference. The Camp has quite a number of game vehicles, perhaps five or... more

We visited camp Moremi after the beginning of the rainy season. While the wildlife was not in abundance nevertheless there were wonderful sightings of giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala, lechwe with their young ones. Other sightings included black mamba, eagles, vultures, male lion, countless other species of birds, crocodiles, and hippos. Of note, not all game drives were fruitful, but the... more

Okavango Delta itself and Botswana in total are so great. I have been a great fan of South Africa but Botswana comes directly after my South Affrica. It is more near-natural than in SA. It is still (luckily) unspoilt from the mass tourism and it´s very beautiful. if you wish a unique safari without lots of tourism you have to... more

Moremi Camp is clean and well-organized. It had beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms. They served excellent food in a stylish dining area and bar. The staff sings nightly before serving dinner. The game drives were the best as we saw 3 different leopards, lion, zebra, red lechwe, impala, hippo, to name a few animals. The various birds here were spectacular... more

We have just returned from a trip which included 3 nights in Camp Moremi and really cannot recommend it highly enough. The location on the edge of the Delta was just perfect ...we were able to access dry land and water wildlife very easily. The tents were the last word in beautiful bush luxury and the food was amazing. Meals... more
