We'd never been to Botswana before and Sango was the first place we stayed at. It was also by far the best place too (even though the other lodge we stayed at in Kasane was lovely it didn't have the intimate, personal feel of Sango). We were hugely impressed with the camp which was beautifully laid out and well looked... More

This was our first stay on our trip to Botswana and it was our favourite of all the lodges. Right from our arrival the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The food was amazing, the safari was spectacular and the camp itself was beautiful. We would whole-heartedly recommend... More

Spent three nights in this beautiful tented camp. Staff were wonderful, greeting us with songs and arranging elegant picnic for us in a beautiful water-side location. Food excellent. Tent very comfortable even during an exciting storm. And laundry was done perfectly! Driver/guide succeeded in finding us all our target birds and animals. Was sorry to say goodbye to such lovely... Sango exceeded our expectations as our first-ever safari experience. We stayed at three different camps in Botswana and Sango was the most rustic of them all, but it had the best spirit to it; a small camp with tents feels more true to the environment than lodges trying to replicate a 5-star hotel experience. It made us feel closer to... More

I just returned from my twelve day safari to Botswana (this was my fourth safari to Southern Africa and my second to the Okavango Delta). I spent half the time at Sango Safari Camp and it exceeded all of my already high expectations. Sango is situated in a unique spot in the Khwai Concession right across the river from the... More

- unkindly and management incompetend - trousers demaged by ironing; not able to patch it within two days (finally did it by myself) - money stolen (150$) out of a wallet in a closed shoulder bag in a closed, locked tent (safe out of order) and disclaimded it --> the worst experience we made in Africa

Dear Sir I would like to take this opportunity to respond to your post. Firstly none of the issues were ignored as you have stated. They were taken very seriously by the camp staff as well as the Head office management team and the camp Owners. The damaged trousers: a) The burnt trousers was an honest mistake for which our... Following a two nights stay in 2013 we now staid 3 nights and that gave us the tranquility that Sango can bring. The staff and guide Fufu create a marvelous atmosphere which makes relaxation easy. The wildlife was a good experience again with the swimming across the Kwhai river by 2 adult lionesses and 3 cubs as absolute high and... More

Thanks to Mike, Neo, ST, Julia, Four Four, Tony and Big Ben for a truly wonderful stay at Sango. Thanks to the other staff members too whose names we did not get to know but who contributed to our memorable stay in no small way. The treat you guys laid out for us on the first day was superb and... More

Ben, Face, Tony, just to name a few... are the ones who give it their all. Never an issue to accommodate a request, always giving 200 percent. Game drives were all good, lodging in spacious open tents with the sounds of hippo, lion were as authentic as you can get. Family-style meals, and NO wifi, meant we could really enjoy... More
