Our stay at Tepuy Lodge was mediocre. The food was pleasant, the staff was attentive, even though they were slow at times. For the excursions they were largely uninformative and out of touch. Hard to organize plans with their support, and they were really largely running around and out of touch. The rooms and accommodations are decent. The rooms have... More

Tapuy Lodge is the newest posada in Canaima and considered one of the upper-tier ones that's why we decided to stay there in our trip after finding out Waku Lodge was fully booked. The experience was beyond dreadfull we were part of a 90 person group that were divided between Waku Lodge, Tapuy Lodge and Venetur and in the 5... More

I'm not sure where we were supposed to stay, but this place was considered an "upgrade" and it sure was worth it! We decided to splurge (an extra $25 per person) because we thought we would be tired after the long trip to/from Salto Angel, and this place would be our pre-trip relaxation spot. It's location is perfect on the... More

Tapuy Lodge is definitely the best location for you to enjoy your stay in Canaima. Very friendly staff, good food and great location, with a view on the cascades and location in the town of Canaima. We really enjoyed the tours offered, with the high flexibility of the hotel manager: we changed to stay a night in Angel Falls (must... More

The location of Tapuy Lodge is hard to beat: right on the Canaima Lagoon. Rooms are comfortable enough, although hot water can be a bit unreliable. Staff are friendly, food is ok, wifi is slow and unreliable. The campsite near the falls is very basic with unsatisfactory bathroom facilities. Overall it's not a bad choice, but be prepared for some... More

Staying in Canaima was only part of the story. This was an adventure holiday in three different locations, organised and orchestrated by Angel-Eco Tours operated by Paul Graham Stanley. The trip was personally supervised by Paul, carefully planned in every detail. This tour company offer variety and flexibility and it is a very personalised service. Because of the way the... More

Tapuy Lodge is situated on the majestic Canaima Lagoon, but their is nothing else heavenly about it. Bedding dirty! The "outdoor" camp near Angel Falls is completely unsanitary with dirty toilets that don't flush and sewage all over the bathroom area Just next door to Waku, and for a little bit more money, is Waku Lodge which worlds apart from... This is relaxing charming lodge in Canaima. Water falls is in front. However, it is still in mountain so that water pressuer for shower is sometimes weak and cold. Room is well maintained and very comfortble. Peaple are very freindly and all foods I had were delicious.

Support everything positive said about this posada of rustic charm, quality rooms, good aircon, location on beach, honest and friendly staff. Only food was average and you have to forgive the towel racks. Decent supplier obviously lacking. Water was a bit iffy. But it is nevertheless a sanctuary coming from roughing it.
