It is a very expensive hotel in Caracas. I mean expensive for the service offered. We were a large party in three different rooms, and since day one they got wrong the bills during the breakfast buffet. Knowing that they do not have the experience to deal with situations with little complexity, I told the supervisor in the restaurant about... More

The Renaissance is very expensive if you pay in dollars and the hotel as a whole is a bit dated -- the furniture is bit too old and worn, and the decor is from another era. The rooms are comfortable and clean but the restaurant is terrible -- the food tastes bad and the service is unacceptably slow. Here is... More

I have had several bad experiences at this hotel which I used to visit very often. The latest, was a 20 minute wait for checking inn and not because there was too many guests but because there was only one employee working. The other 3 were behind the front desk talking to each other.

This is a mid-level hotel that is let down by its very average restaurant. Supposed to be Asian fusion but not very Asian, and very mediocre. Staff friendly and efficient, room nice, bathroom ok, decent walk-in shower. Decent executive lounge and breakfast. Hellishly expensive if you are paying at the official (non-local) exchange rate.

I didn't have a reservation for the night I stayed... I was invited to a weeding at the hotel last Saturday and the best idea was to stay that night after the party. Great service overall I recommend this hotel 100%

I stayed here in November, best Hotel in Venezuela. The staff was really nice, and the manager who I had the pleasure to see several times walking in the hotel was really nice and kind. The restaurant "Mijao" was really nice I recommed the "Hamburguesa Caraquena" (hamburguer with avocado and caramelized onions). The rooms were very cleand and nice. Also... More

The hotel was very good looking and clean. Check-in and check-out was less than 10 minutes. Perfect location. Downside: The towels couldn't be any thinner, they felt very cheap for this kind of hotel.. and the drinks at the lobby bar, were way overpriced!!! Other than that, I would've given this hotel 5 stars!

Expect checkin and checkout to take at least 30mins per person. Rooms are spacious and clean but there are very few with king size beds. Request top floors or you won't be able to sleep due to traffic. The sun leaves the pool area by 1pm so get there early. Big gym with plenty of cardio. Elevators were limited to... More

A new, modern hotel, centrally located in the Eastern part of the city in a well concurred street. The check-in was quite unusual to say the least, they were 3 receptionists, 2 ladies and a male; approached the male who appeared to be available but he ignored me completely for a fair amount of time; when I asked very politely... Rooms are ok but noisy. Hotel is clean. Restaurant is to be improved. Neighborhood is what it... Location is quite central. Staff is friendly! Gold member lobby is to be improved (no big choose of food and drink - breakfast is perfect though!). I would go back if imposed but would prefer to try/experiment another one.
