I stayed at this resort in November 2 or 3 years ago. Overall one of the nicest places I have stayed. Highly recommended! Food Buffet restaurant was very good and varied from day to day with theme nights. Gourmet restaurant was delicious but with small portions. Beach restaurant was nice for lunch or snacks. I was alittle apprehensive about this resort due to all the negative comments. However, some people are just negative and have really HIGH expectations. I found it to be very relaxing. The ocean was cold and high winds on the beach. The rooms were ok(nice size) and food was good. I wish there were more a la carte selections though.... more

Considering the negative reviews, I wasn't expecting much. I'm now convinced that mostly unhappy people write reviews because I was more then happy overall. The staff were incredibly kind - I don't know how anyone can rate them poorly ... but maybe that's because we were kind to them. The room was huge - yes, outdated and needed some paint... more

Hotel does need some repairs, but my friends and I truly enjoyed our trip and would definitely go back. We only have good things to say about the food, service and staff. Its really quiet a night so if its a party you are looking for, this isn't the hotel for you. more
