I can't speak for the negative comments here as I had a great time staying here. We stayed at RICARDO TORRES Hotel Posada Suiza, it was very loud and dirty, breakfast is just old coffee and black bananas. Matresses are thin and felt like sleeping on sand. Posada Suiza is a lovey family-run B&B in a convenient location in Merida. Ricardo and his wife are super-helpful and speak excellent English. We went in to find out about changing money, and ended up booking two superb adventures with their partner organisation Colibri Tours: the paragliding with condors and the 4 day trek in Los Llanos. I cannot argue with the comments of the negative review about this place being run by Jo Marie, who is a very friendly hard working parent.
