First the good. The breakfast was great, fruit and bread really first class. Our bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and worked well. The internet access was fast and reliable-the only place we found this in Venezuela. The bad-I can confirm that the dogs did bark all night. I didn't find the front desk staff very helpful.... more

We stayed at Casa Sol based on the Trip Advisor reviews and they were accurate. The service is superb, as are the breakfasts. We booked late so could only get an internal room, which was fine. I am sure a courtyard room would have been better but it wasn't noisy and the room itself was great. more

I spent ten days at Casa Sol, returning home last Sunday. It was a wonderful experience. The posada is spotlessly clean, and I am a clean freak, so I am very particular. We have been staying in <posadas all over Venezuela and none compare to this. Breakfasts are superb although they are not included in rate. The owners are on site and very helpful, as is all of the staff. Rooms are clean, with first class comforters made of down. Sheets are soft and wonderful. Lots of hot, hot water.
