We asked South Seas Adventures to arrange a relaxing diving vacation for us at a small resort in Fiji. We found not only a place to relax with terrific diving, but a "home away from home." The staff at Lalati is the defining feature of this amazing resort. Snuggled into a bay on a lush tropical isle, the resort hums... more

GO TO LALATI! My only complaint is that we had to leave. Let me start out by saying, if you want the amenities of the Plaza Hotel in NYC, you shouldn't come to Fiji. Spare yourself the 10 hour flight from LAX. Anyone who can find complaints about this resort are either "nit-picking" or spoiled well beyond the "average or... more

We spent a week at Lalati, and although we were disappointed with only one day of sunshine all week, we had a fantastic stay. Lalati is right on Beqa Lagoon, a gorgeous inlet surrounded by lush green hills and stunning coral reef. Service was above reproach, food was absolutely delicious, and there was a great variety. Management welcomed us with... more

My husband and I stayed at the Lalati for our honeymoon about a month ago, and had a fantastic time. The resort is small (only 10 or so bures) and remote (2.5 hour drive + 30 min boat ride from airport). While it took awhile to get to, it was perfect for a honeymoon. We were fortunate to stay in... more

Lalati is a slice of paradise. The island is surrounded by beautiful coral reefs so if snorkeling and diving is what you like, you won't be disappointed. We saw tons of sealife including turtles dolphins, squid, lion fish, sharks, as well as all the usual reef dwellers. And that was just snorkeling and kayaking Susan and Brad were very accomodating.... more

What an amazing experience, a true gift. If you love snorkeling, diving and kayaking and you want an authentic Fijian experience you will love Lalati Resort! We were greeted after our long journey with a foot massage by the most loving staff on the planet. It was such a gift and memorable experience to be invited to the local Fijian... more

I'm an American living in Fiji and have stayed at many resorts in Fiji--large and small. And I have to say, Lalati has been the best BY FAR. Too often resorts in Fiji over promise and under deliver. Others are so expensive that no one traveling within a budget--no matter how big--can afford them. At Lalati, you get much more... more

This person should stay in the Sheraton in Hawaii. I was at Lalati. I have traveled more than most people, and I found the people that live on this Island and work in the resort among the most pleasant & helpful anywhere. The cabins are in true South Pacific style, large & clean. The open air dinning/bar area is in... more

What do you go to Fiji for? I thought I'd find at any resort in Fiji--certainly one for $400/night for two: Beautiful blue water, inviting for a swim - A long, white, sandy beach - A clean, bright, attractive lobby - A stocked bar with a bartender who knows how to make drinks - An appetizer menu with food available... more

This is a wonderful little resort with lovely Fijian staff and beautiful large bures along water's edge with big front porches. Very comfortable and clean. This is a very private place which we loved. We went with a group of friends and had the place to ourselves. The food was great as were the spa services. The diving and snorkeling... more
