I stayed in Martin n Anita in May 2014. I arrived in Easter island without a booking and was approached by Martin at the airport. He showed me nice pictures and offered a very low rate and I agreed. He wants his money in cash and in full. Room was decent but very bad condition of sheets and no towel... More

I wish I saw these reviews before we agreed to stay with Martin and his wife Anita. Martin seemed nice once you agreed and payed him money and then.... We spend three nights and we found our room without sheets, I asked politely to have sheets in our room but they never got delivered after 4hours of waiting, and owners... More

We didn´t book in advance and met Martin at the airport. I compared the prices of different accomodations, he was cheapest and much cheaper than I expected in Easter Island. We paid the price of a budget hostel, but with private bath. The room was quite big, not very nice, but ok. I agree with other people that it was... More

Got "traped" by Martin at the airport by showing nice pictures of his B&B. For what you get it is way to expencive. You finde much better places for less. The room was not clean, the bathroom nothing you wanted to use. He has wifi but it was almost usless. I swichted to another much much cleaner, better AND cheaper... More

For context - I only needed a place for one night while waiting for a friend to arrive a day later. I arrived without a reservation, and Martin was the first to catch my attention. He quoted a price that was within my budget so I said yes. Right away he gave a "city tour" which was helpful in pointing... More

I must add my voice to the discontent expressed with regard to this hotel. I didn't book in advance thinking that I'll get cheaper and better at the airport. It's a myth to be busted - someone I met on the flight had the same price at a B&B of his own choosing, i.e. some place recommended by other travellers.... More

A disgusting specimen. Ripped my son and I off from the moment we arrived. Do not let him organise trips. He charged us £300 for two trips which he said would not be expensive. He does not take credit cards contrary to saying he would on arrival.

I work for a major airline and family and I travel very often, so take my word please. I stayed with wife and two children. The owner will make this place HELL on top of the already bad place he runs. I agree with 6 out of the seven reviews (the one in spanish says wonders about the place, probably... More

Taking advice from our travel book, we decided to chance accomodation in Easter Island and wait to look for somewhere on arrival. The book seemed to suggest that there would be a lot of representatives waiting at the airport looking for your business. Well this was not true at all. We were one of the first ones off the flight... More
