My husband & I stayed here for four nights in June and had an awesome time! The included continental/buffet breakfast had a great selection of fruits, cereals, yogurt, and pastries/baked goods; much more than we'd had throughout the rest of South America. The staff was extremely friendly attentive, and spoke really good English. A lightning storm knocked out power on... More

The tranquil setting of this hotel, amidst beautiful gardens is the most wonderful feature of this hotel. The rooms face onto the gardens and the best rooms have a lovely small terrace which looks out over the pool as well. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is within a decent walk to Hanga Roa where you can enjoy lovely... More

I agree with most of the positive reviews: staff was outstandingly friendly and they are the main reason for the positive review! They helped with car, with airline and hotel issues in Santiago, small issue with the room, tour around the island, etc. Breakfast was simple but good and fresh. It's about a 10 min walk to town. (As an... More

This hotel is in a good, quiet location. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean and quite modern (you just have to remember where you are!) Our rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very simple but in a nice way. The bread was always fresh and there was a good choice of fruit... More

This hotel is as clean and as comfortable as you will get on the Island without paying ridiculous charges. You do have to bear in mind that you are on a very remote island and there is not exactly a plethora of Hiltons and Sheratons here, none at all in fact. Anyone expecting luxury must have a strange view on... More

The Hotel Gomero is probably only a notch up from average, but it has other advantages. The staff are uniformly friendly and helpful, and you are, after all, on Easter Island, two and a half thousand miles from Santiago in one direction and Pitcairn Island in the other. If there is a building on the island more than two stories... More

The hotel has lovely gardens and is in a tranquil setting. We had a room with a private balcony and it was worth it. The rooms are large and have suitable furniture. The staff have excellent english. The wi-fi is a bit patchy but then you are in the middle of nowhere! It is an easy walk from the hotel... More

Okay, I know we were on the remotest inhabited island in the world in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and the cost of imports, especially food, is inevitably high, however there are really no excuses for rooms not being clean and basic facilities like running water not working properly, especially if you have paid for a 'superior room' at... The Hotel Gomero was a really good surprise. Nice room and cleanliness. Very weel kept by the attentif staff. Breakfast just average. But, remembet that Hanga-Roa is more than 2000 miles away from the continent. So, was more than OK.
