We had a good time. The room was clean and quiet. Pro: cost, location (front of the ocean), friendly and helpful staff, free transfer to the airport. Con: the no shoes policy within common part / the kitchen is not fully equipped. Anyway we really enjoyed your stay. Thx!

We stayed 5 nights at the Camping Mihinoa in Easter Island. The place is relatively well located, not too far from the center of Hanga Roa and just in front of the sea. The bathroom are relatively clean, hot shower works but only during designated time in the morning and evening. Kitchen is big and good for cooking. Don't buy... More

I stayed in a 4 bed dorm room for a week and 10,000 pesos a night was a bargin, more so it being Easter island. The room had 4 single beds and 2 bedside drawers, unfortunately not much space - no lockers, shelves or hooks, but honestly it didnt bother me. The place was cleaned daily and towels are included.... This is a no-brainer - at this price you can afford to rent a car, which you really should do! Really it should be a 3/5 rating, but the price really bumps it up a notch. The tent is adequate and clean. The mats and sleeping bags are clean. The kitchen is huge, and everyone gets a locker. The major... More

Stayed here for four nights in a rented tent with sleeping bag. Everything is fairly clean, kitchen and toilets/showers are cleaned once a day. I was able to get spotty wifi in my tent. They also provide transportation to/from the airport and can help you book things and even rent a scooter. The walk is about 15 minutes into the... More

We stayed for two weeks in our tent here, and had a great time! If you don't bring your own camping gear, you are able to rent from the owners, as well as they have private rooms available. Its organized very well, even with airport pick up and drop off. Definitely a family affair and everyone working was quite nice... More

We stayed 3 nights in a tent. It was our first experience in a tent!. The camping is incredible located, in front of the ocean. The owners are very nice. They pick you up from the airport. There are a communal kitchen and communal bathrooms. Everything is basic, but it is perfect for the price you pay. The place is... More

We absolutely loved our week's stay on Easter Island. Mihinoa boasts a large property right on the water with space to camp, dorms, and privates. We stayed in a private double ensuite. The room was huge, cleaned every day, and had a view of the ocean. There were two large windows to open and see out of. The private kitchens... More

Clean, efficient and functional accommodation on the coast, 10 minute walk to the main town. The cabins are spotless ( 25000 single, 35000 double), and well furnished. The dorms are 3 beds to a room (10000) and are very good value. It is 5000 to hire a tent (April 2014). There are 3 kitchens on the site, offering self catering... More

Camping Mihinoa is the option for backpackers in Easter Island. Marta is very welcoming, fetching her guests from the airport and taking them back when they leave. Located in front of the sea, close to Caleta Hanga Pico and 25 minutes walk from the center of Hanga Roa. Cool athmosphere with a huge kitchen and lockers. Would be perfect if... More
