We stayed at this hotel for three days in May 2013. I didn't really like it. The room was poor, bathroom was not clean. The beds ware also poor. Wireless internet wasn't functioning most time. There is a pool, but it was empty all time, although the wetter was ideal for swimming. Breakfast was OK. For a small bottle of... More

We were there as a part of the group running the Easter Island Marathon. The rooms were clean and the beds soft yet comfortable. We had one of the cabanas that faced the ocean and we had a beautiful view. There are also rooms in the main hotel part and would guess that some of them have good view as... More

The hotel has 30 rooms and 10 cabanas. The cabanas are closer to the ocean while the standard rooms are in a separate “L” shaped building towards the back. Cabanas are $240 US a night and the standard rooms are $180 US a night. The standard room was a good size with a tub/shower bathroom. You could put the toilet... More

I must say that our stay at the Hotel Taha Tai was just about perfect and that was certainly due to the location, location, location and especially due to the customer service expertise of Constanza (Connie) Matus (reception) and the General Manager, Yuko Mogani..both were so pleasant and helpful and went so above and beyond. Thanks to them our stay... More

Travelers beware your tour company may book you the package that includes dinner but the hotel denies they offer this type of package when you check in or stuck you with the bill when you check out. At first I thought it was our tour company screws up, I decided not to include this on my review. I changed my... More

Our room was fine. The air conditioning worked. The queen bed was comfortable, and the 220 electrical worked. The bathroom was adequate but lacked a hair blow dryer. We didn't use the pool but it looked really inviting. The one detraction was the restaurant. You feel a little captive with the closest restaurants either not open until 8pm or about... More

The location is excellent. The rooms are basic. The staff is totally indifferent to guests needs. The breakfast buffet is mediocre, at best. If you book here don't expect much expect for a short and beautiful walk along the coast on your way into town.

This really isn't a 5 star resort, but it was fine for us. We had a room right off of the lobby, and we had a small view of the ocean. Our room was small but adequate and clean. There were ants in our bathroom but I am guessing that isn't uncommon on the island. The staff spoke very little... More

We were put up here for the night when our flight was cancelled and the staff were most accommodating. The pool was an added bonus and the hotel appears to be nicer than some of the others in the area. The restaurant where we had breakfast and evening meal was a much better standard than others in the village.

I have to agree with the other posts. This hotel is not a 5 star resort, but it is clean, basic and in a lovely setting. We were in bungalow 10, which has a nice patio, that you could watch the ocean. We ate breakfast and one dinner in the on-site restaurant, and it was very acceptable. The staff, while... More
