I was part of a tour staying here. The staff is delightful. Very friendly. Unfortunately, our wing, which included rm. 45 had no hot water for 2 days. They had a tech there trying to fix the situation but after the second day, we were all moved to other rooms. Rm. 21 is definitely a better view than 45 and... More

Our National Geographic Around-the-World-Tour stopped at Easter Island and stayed at this hotel with lovely views of the Pacific Ocean. As other reviewers have stated, the hotel is basic but clean. Truth-in-advertising, we were here several years ago and I am just getting around to review this amazing trip. Breakfast was delicious. Strange green worn carpet around the pool area--but... More

Stayed at Iorana Hotel in September 2014 and had a wonderful experience. Very nice breakfast every morning, and the one dinner we ate there was wonderful - fresh and tasty. Fantastic view of the Pacific ocean just 100' from our room's balcony. Beautiful grotto and caves withing walking distance. Lisa the owner treated us like family and always made time... More

Just recently back from Easter Island my wife and I would like to make our comments regarding the IORANA Hotel, comments which might be helpful for future visitors. We decided us to stay at the IORANA because of the overwhelmingly very positive comments from guests who had stayed there and we had looked up before in the Internet. For us IORANA... More

This hotel is set in a great location and has one of the most beautiful views out to the ocean. OK, first of all we must remember where we are - one of the most remotest islands in the world. The hotel is basic but clean and has pretty much everything that you need - free wifi is available in... More

Easter Island can be a bit daunting for the solo, English-speaking traveller since everything operates on 'island time' and English is common but not a given, so you spend a bit of time trying to get your bearings. Iorana Hotel was reliable and helpful, with someone always on desk during the day to give you advice and a night watchman... More

Our check in was fast and efficient. Karen was nice and was willing to answer any of the questions that we had. Our room was small with a double bed (with a hard mattress) and an old fashioned TV set that had 3 Spanish channels. I did not mind because I hardly watch TV but my husband (who did not... More

Everything was really nice. The rooms were clean, breakfast was basic but adequate. The staff was very nice. There were lots of roosters! It was a 20 minute but easy walk into the town. The views were incredible. The Wifi was slow and only around the office but considering where we were, any Wifi at all was amazing.

Good hotel, with clean room, good facilities, well located (5 minutes from town by car, with a good view to the ocean). We stayed in the standard room, which is OK, although I would not advise for couples in honeymoon - prefer the more fancy rooms, which are bigger and better decorated. Te staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, even... More

The hotel itself is big and in a lovely setting but showing signs of age and lack of regular maintenance. Rooms small and ok but no windows and If ranch slider is opened in evenings Mosquitos invite themselves in. There is an ac that is efficient and noisy. The staff and service leave a lot to be desired. If it... More
