This hotel had lovely grounds, friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. I booked a room and 2 meals a day. The breakfast and dinner were both very good and the staff was very lovely. My flight out wound up getting cancelled and the staff was very helpful in helping me re-book my flights. The hotel is located slightly away from... More

This hotel may have the best hotel view of the ocean . The grounds are nicely maintained for the Island. The major language used by and in the hotel is Spanish. Spanish speakers do much better all-around than non-Spanish speaking clients. The hotel was probably built in the 1970’s and has retained the 1970’s appearance. We were on half board... More

This hotel is on the water, and has been somewhat updated. There are not many options on Easter Island, so this may be the best. One other new hotel is available, but is very expensive. Included breakfast here is mediocre and dinners are just OK. Rooms are clean, but dated. We had a nice view of the water. Service is... More

The location, over the cliffs, will blow your mind away. Go to the natural lava pool! (or to the nice regular pool). Just for that it's worth it. The hotel rooms are ample, basic but comfortable. Service is not subservient but rather correct if distant. I realized it's because the folks working there are proud Rapa Nui people who appreciate... More

I enjoyed my stay here and learned a lot by talking to the manager about the local situation and supply chain. Even your breakfast eggs have to be flown in - there are no resources on the island. Even the gas/fuel has to be imported - so if there are few hot showers, remember that you are using imported fuel... More

I am not sure why our delegation was booked here. This was a pretty basic hotel in a pleasant setting. The room was pretty spartan as were the hotel facilities. Internet was dreadful. Breakfast was OK and the bar the night before had beer. We survived OK. I would probably look at other options should I ever come back.

The hotel was clean, if a bit out dated, and old around the edges. It had great view. It was easy to walk to town. The breakfast was adequate. The staff was very friendly. Remember it is Easter Island and you are there for adventure and exploration. This is a great beginning point.

The island is billed as the most isolated populated place on earth. They grow few vegetables and fruits so breakfast at the hotel consisted of breads, coldcuts, eggs and bananas. The Chileans eat bread and drink coffee or tea. The menu is limited, the food is good but the preparation slow as is everything here -think 'island time'. The rooms were comfortable with... More

The hotel/houses itself is/are rather simple as logistics on Easter Island are difficult to handle and one can understand that. Other than that the location is just amazing as you are a bit outside of the "city" and one can enjoy the silence at night being close to the beach. Sitting on your balcony you an see some Mohai statues... More

The hotel is located by the sea, over a clif from which you can reach a stone pool filled of sea water by the waves. There are treckking paths to the ceremonial village of Orongo and to Hanga Roa downtown. You can easily walk fron the hotel to Hanga Roa. Car rental is available in the hotel. Food is served...
