We stayed at the Taura'a hotel next door overlooking the run down rooms of the Kaimana. The restaurant looked quite nice so we tried out a pizza before (not) booking a table for their special Rapa Nui night as suggested by the owner of the Taura'a. The microwave operative (to use the words cook or chef would be an insult... more

It is a very nice hotel and good situated in the town, clean and big room. The owners and the people working ín the hotel are very helpful and the restaurant is serving good food. They recommended also an excellent guided tour with a charming and knowledge englishspoken guide. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends that will... more

I spent 4 nights at Kaimaman Inn. The manager picked me up at teh airport. The room was a very good size, but very simple for the US$60 a night I was paying. Both the front door and the bathroom door got stuck on the tiles and scraped every time you opened them. Rooms were not cleaned every day. Breakfast... more

Kaimana Hotel is in a good central location in town, just off the main street, so shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious and comfortable, it had an ensuite with a bath, plus a mini bar everything you need really. Marcelo the owner is very friendly and helpful, he speaks good english which... more

From the moment I made the reservation through the Internet, everything went smoothly, completely flexible and a fast response from Marcelo, the owner. I traveled alone and I feel I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay on Easter Island. Situated in the center of Hanga Roa, everything is in walking distance: supermarkets, drug store, bike and car rentals,... more

We were met at the airport with a warm smile, a hug and a flower lay. We then were taken to our home away from home at the kAIMANA. For the island we were very pleased with our accomidations. (remember you are 4800 kl from the mainland) It had a central deck which included a well appointed kitchen a`la fersco.... more

The owner greeted us at the airport. He gave us a tour of the city and gave us some great advice. He helped us book some affordable tours. The hotel was friendly, cozy, and included a fantastic breakfast. The price is good, especially in comparison to the rest of the island. The location was right on the main street and... more

Great location, friendly and accomodating...I enjoyed my stay at the Kaimana Inn tremendously thanks to Marcelo and his staff. The restaurant food was excellent and breakfasts were very nice, especially that they did not serve the same thing everyday as I was there a week. Thank you Marcelo for all your help on my visit to Rapa Nui! more

Great hotel. and a great welcome. Marcello goes out of his way to provide any information you may require and will assist in booking any activities that you want. Highlight was our one day tour of the island that took in virtually all of Easter Islands sights. He was insightful and entertaining, plus carried beer and refreshments essential for a... more
