This is one of the most beautiful places we have been. The setting, the accommodations, the buildings, the decor, the pool, etc are all stunning. When one arrives, a gaucho greats you. The food is wonderful, especially the grilled lunch. We can't wait to go back

Our first experience of an estancia was delightful. The staff and gauchos are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The setting is peaceful and the pool delightful. The small touches really show and are appreciated. The horses were so well behaved and groomed. The polo pony stables are immaculate. Free horse shows every day, home baked empanadas brought... La Bamba de Areco is a landmark vacation destination, one of the famed San Antonio de Areco estancias. It was built nearly 200 years ago as a post house on the Camino Real (Royal Road) leading from Buenos Aires to northern Argentina, and because of its dramatic outlook and lush setting, it has served more than once as a shooting... We are just about leave after a 2 night stay. From the moment we were welcomed by the awaiting staff, we have had a truly unforgettable experience. We began our south American trip here in order to de-stress and recover from our flght. The peace and quiet, the exceptional food, the extremely hospitable staff and excellent facilities makes it a... More

We visited the estancia for 3 days in early December and it was definitely the highlight of our trip to Argentina. Estancia La Bamba de Areco offers exceptional hospitality, luxurious surroundings and a beautiful property--all for a very reasonable price given the high quality of the offering. Guillermo, Veronica, and all of the staff were welcoming and made every effort... More

Our family and friends spent New Year's Eve at La Bamba and found our stay to be a highlight of our trip to Argentina. The estancia is beautifully decorated, the grounds are immaculate and the staff is excellent, helpful and warm. When we arrived, our car was escorted down the long driveway by a gaucho on horseback and introduced to... More

Six stars out of five - this is just an amazing place. It is a complete experience of beeing spolied in a luxurious environment. Me and my wife spent two nights here during our two-week-tour in Argentina and it was the highlight of the trip. Veronica, Maria and the rest of the staff did not just provide excellent service but... More

Lovely but overpriced at $700 a night (benchmarking vs boutique luxury hotels and also, for example, all inclusive safaris in South Africa) Includes food and drink but costs of these are low in Argentina - we were spending about $100 a day eating in the best restaurants in BA. No choice of wine. Lunch is the same every day. Meals... More

Not as convenient in heavy rain but well worth the trip. Met great people but also had the place to ourselves for a couple of days. Rode out twice a day and nothing was too much trouble. Food, decor, environment beyond words. Team La Bamba da Areco won the Gold Cup at Cowdray in 2009 and memorable to see the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of a busy 2 week trip around Chile and Argentina. We booked with Imagine Latin America who I trust implicitly and who had already ensured we had the most amazing experiences, scenery, food, wine and company - there was a lot to live up to! La Bamba didn't disappoint. The staff... More
