Great resort. Excellent food. Staff very attentive and felt very looked after. Loved the riding and they catered for all levels and we're good at responding to individual requests to go out on faster rides. Great experience and a nice way to end our trip

Booked for us by our travel agents Imagine Latin America, the Estancia at La Bamba is just an hour or two from Buenos Aires, but a million miles away in other respects. The accommodation and communal areas are all very tastefully done and perfectly appointed. The staff were all so polite and attentive (without being remotely overbearing), the setting is... More

Veronica organises a place which feels like an exclusive private home rather than a hotel. It ouses class from the furniture and decor to the communal dining table.Beware the huge lunch you will need a siesta after.Huge pool, drinks offered when you need and a great chef.Would love to come back and see a polo match on one of the two pitches... Easily the highlight of a recent trip to South America. From the line-up of all the staff upon arrival, to the wonderfully decorated buildings and rooms, it doesn’t take long to understand this is a high-end place and where guests are pampered. Meals and drinks are communal. Maybe not to everyone’s taste, but from my experience this made it all... More

A brilliantly run estancia close to Buenos Aries with everything a guest could possibly want. Beautiful interior design, acres of outside space, masses of food and wine a pretty decent sized pool, handsome gauchos , a great team of workers all organised by Veronica. Could have stayed much longer.

This is one of the most beautiful places we have been. The setting, the accommodations, the buildings, the decor, the pool, etc are all stunning. When one arrives, a gaucho greats you. The food is wonderful, especially the grilled lunch. We can't wait to go back

Our first experience of an estancia was delightful. The staff and gauchos are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The setting is peaceful and the pool delightful. The small touches really show and are appreciated. The horses were so well behaved and groomed. The polo pony stables are immaculate. Free horse shows every day, home baked empanadas brought... La Bamba de Areco is a landmark vacation destination, one of the famed San Antonio de Areco estancias. It was built nearly 200 years ago as a post house on the Camino Real (Royal Road) leading from Buenos Aires to northern Argentina, and because of its dramatic outlook and lush setting, it has served more than once as a shooting... We are just about leave after a 2 night stay. From the moment we were welcomed by the awaiting staff, we have had a truly unforgettable experience. We began our south American trip here in order to de-stress and recover from our flght. The peace and quiet, the exceptional food, the extremely hospitable staff and excellent facilities makes it a... More

We visited the estancia for 3 days in early December and it was definitely the highlight of our trip to Argentina. Estancia La Bamba de Areco offers exceptional hospitality, luxurious surroundings and a beautiful property--all for a very reasonable price given the high quality of the offering. Guillermo, Veronica, and all of the staff were welcoming and made every effort... More
