I really don't have enough words to describe how amazing this place is. Being welcomed by the staff and by a gaucho riding out to the gate was a magical start to our two days there and it only got better. The staff were attentive, yet not overbearing. The decor was luxurious, yet not gaudy or tacky. It truly is... More

My husband and I absolutely loved our time at La Bamba. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and memorable stay. Upon arrival we received the warmest of welcomes with the estancia's resident gaucho (on horseback) greeting our car at the gate and guiding us to the main buildings. Then all the staff personally welcomed... More

We stayed at La Bamba for three nights after a busy time in BA . It was ideal . Great food and wine , lovely rooms and the staff were superb . The riding and the location were perfect . Dining with other interesting guests made for entertaining meal times and the massage was extremely de stressing .

Fantastic place. Beautiful nature. Great staff. Steaks and BBQ to die for. Everything top notch. Horseback riding in great surroundings was a really special experience. Would def go back. Bring either buddies for some good conversations or a partner.

Our stay was disappointing as we had expected a better experience than the one we had, reading recent reviews. There were a number of good points-the beautiful grounds, with trees full of birds, the swimming pool area with lots of sun beds and the well-restored buildings of the estancia. However, other aspects were not so good. After a longish flight... More

Fantastic place. Unique setting, a beautiful estancia in the middle of polo fields, century-old trees, with thousands of birds around. Beautiful decoration and, above all, one of the best, truly personalised and tailored services we've experienced so far. Incredible, given the fact you are in the middle of Argentina's countryside, though just a couple hours from Buenos Aires. Amazing food... More

Spent an incredible week end in La Bamba de Areco, the estancia is beautiful, from the grounds of the property to the elegant design of the rooms and guest areas. The entire team is great, very welcoming and there to ensure every detail is taken care of during your stay. Chef Ferdericos food was delicious from a wonderfull assado for... More

This estancia was just such a classy place. Can I move in please? Beautifully decorated with huge grounds to cycle, walk, horse ride and swim. Food was a real highlight- the empanadas were awesome, the barbecue lunch delightful and super generous and the communal dinners were fun. You certainly won't go hungry! With just 11 rooms, it feels very exclusive... More

'Wow' and 'go!' are 2 words to describe La Bamba. When you are driving there you think 'why am I driving miles down a rutted dusty road in the middle of nowhere?' but it is well worth it. From the impressive arrival (I have never experienced anything like their arrival. I will omit the details to preserve the surprise for... More

The hotel itself is perfectly done. The beef served at the lunch cookout was tough and overdone. Very unimpressive meal. The horseback ride was 30 minutes in a circle on an open field. Beautiful grounds. Lovely room. Nice dinner. But $700? Please! Plus the transportation to and from Buenos Aires could have been half what we paid had we known... More
