If you want a lodge that is clean, and owned by "a trustworthy" family. You have to go here. Rooms are actually roomy and has excellent accommodations. We were very disappointed with our experience at Rio Dorado Lodge. We arrived by taxi from the bus station early in the afternoon on a very hot day. Spent a lot of time here while fishing the area and Juan was helpful in directing us to some good water. The rooms are large which is great when your toting around mass quantities of fly fishing gear. The beds are large and comfy and the property is large and well kept. My wife and I being fly fishers have stayed at many of the lodges in Patagonia. The Rio Dorado ranks number "1" in our books.
