Our stay here was very comfortable. The rooms were clean and spacious. The lady who runs the hosteria is very nice and helpful. The food was good. The views in El Chalten are fabulous. The WiFi in all of El Chalten seems to be very weak and unreliable. The WiFi was not available in the rooms - it was only... More

Friendly family run business. Buffet breakfast was very good. Rooms are slightly shabby but comfortable enough. Hot water for the showers was plentiful. Our bathroom (Room 28) had a drain smell because the radiator was leaking. Wifi is via satellite and only available in communal areas but speed is reasonable. Luggage storage is offered. 10% discount is offered for payment... More

The rooms were basic but clean. The shower was hot but with out pressure you need to get close and personal to the shower wall. Breakfast was provided and scrambled eggs were available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi was available only in the main area and was extremely slow. I could not download emails but messages worked on Viber... More

For the price we paid, 4 star-experience: - Good room, clean - very friendly and helpful owner with a good level of English - pleasant common areas - Breakfast rather ok with fruits and eggs - Location might be a bit far from the start of some treks, but honestly if you go to El Chalten you are not afraid... We enjoyed our stay here very much. The hostel is well located, the rooms are spacious and clean. Mostly, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful (especially the owner) and the breakfast is really extensive and delicious. The only downside is that the beds were a bit hard. Definitely recommended!

This hostel feels a bit like a mountain lodge, and justly so, given the surrounds. While the Internet may be slow (this is a frontier town), the rooms are pleasant and the breakfast good. I loved the quirky use they've found for some old bus seats...

We stayed there for 3 nights. It was quiet, central, comfy room with all the basic stuff. We could control the room's central heating ourselves so it was a plus. The breakfast was good. The hosteria offers wifi but nowhere works in El Chalten. The towels and bins are not changed daily but unless you are not pretending any frills... More

As long as you don't come to El Chalten expecting anything fancy, you'll be very happy you stayed here. The owner, Alexandra, is such a sweetheart. She works hard and all of the time during tourist season. She was a pleasure to talk to. I was warm and comfortable the entire time. Nothing in El Chalten has reliable internet, so... More

I spent two nights at this guesthouse as part of a tour and I found it a satisfying stay. El Chalten is a very small little village, so every place is close to the bus station (about 10 minutes away). The guesthouse had a large and attractive main area where the reception is located and which serves also as breakfast... More

Nice stay at the ñires. The staff is really nice, specially Alejandra! They will tell you everything you need to know about the walks. There s a laundry service for 60 pesos and breakfast is good. Not far from San Martin. They do have wifi but it s really slow because it s satellite.
