We came upon this place after arriving in El Chalten in the evening. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Compared to the other places we stayed in Argentina, we felt the breakfast was a notch below. All the same options, but a cheaper grade of cereals, breads and meats.

We stayed at Poincenot for 2 nights while we hiked around the El Chalten area and having looked at lots of hotels online I decided that they were pretty much all the same so just picked this one. Really friendly staff. I felt like we were constantly asking for help with one thing or another (planning our days, etc) and they were so patient and always happy to help. Outstanding, helpful staff. Beautifully sized, immacuate room, modern bathroom with lots of hot water. Bed is comfortable and linens were nice. All areas are decorated with taste. I stayed 3 nights in it at the begining of 2013. The room was good. Beds were comfortable. Television contains many good channels. Toilets are clean and the shower is very good (with good hot water). Good service from receptionists. Really enjoyed my stay there.

Modern building and clean, tastefully decorated rooms, I enjoyed my stay here. Hot water in the showers was very hot (had to keep adding cold). Room was large clean and pleasant, it is a quite spot and best located for the best hikes. Service is excellent, people at the reception desk are most useful and quick to provide help or suggestion they provided great suggestion for food (best was a grill place named il muro) Our stayin here was simply excellent
