This is my favorite spot each time I am around this area. Very friendly and warm welcome, excellent food (breadfast) and in the earth of the old Baie St-Paul. Very close by foot to art gallery, restaurants and other shops. It is located on a street that worth walking to really appreciate the area.

Charming country inn with friendly professional staff. Food was excellent, both dinner & breakfast (except the coffee). The decor of the common areas is a little outdated & wallpaper & carpets could do with a makeover. But our room was large, furnished with antiques, bathroom was well-maintained. We were very comfortable & enjoyed the inn & the nearby shops &... More

The managers spoke English very well and this was a very positive experience. Though our room was small, it was quaint and comfortable. It is a real character place. Location is central to the town and very close to a lot of boutiques and walking routes. There is a lot of older beautiful homes in this area. There were no... More

Even though I had booked two rooms two months ago, one for my couple and another one for a friend couple; we found out once there that they had scrached out one of the two rooms! So our friends had no room! We could easily see that my name had been scratched out and another name was written on top... More

Often I judge an establishment by their staff and Auberge la Maison Otis does not disappoint! We were greeted in a very friendly way and given a choice of accommodations. The rooms in the main building are loft-type two story and very cozy. Somewhat dated 1970s, but nonetheless very comfortable. Restaurant was totally excellent and breakfast good. All the staff... On July 31st 2013, we stopped at La Maison Otis for one night after cruising along the beautiful Charlevoix area in our Harley. We stayed there few years ago and we can appreciate still how friendly they are. Everything is in place to make your stay fantastic. The room was kind of old fashion mix between antics and modern, very... More

Despite our written advice for late arrival, we were surprised to see the manager closing the place at 11:00 when we arrived not caring about us. We also found that for the price, the room would need to be refreshed. This inn has had a prestigious name in the past 30 years but no more. It looks like the owners... More

La Maison Otis is a cute little inn. We booked the cheapest room (125$, including breakfast and tax) and we were not disappointed. We had been told there was no air conditioning in our room, but there was a fan, which we used a lot. Our room was cute, small but we knew it would be and didn't care. Everything... More

Went in July. Got a great little room full of European charm. Great bed. Great shower (being a shower junkie, it's one of the thing I rate places on). Charming town and you're smack dab in the middle of it. Breakfast was more than good. Staff was great. Will def come back here. Do check out the fjord.

Staff are great in both english and french. Main house is made of stone and fireplaces, comfy furniture, bar, resto and breakfast room. They got us discount lift tickets at Le Massif Ski resort which is a close 20 minutes up the road. OK the decor and layout of attached buildings seems a bit dated and odd, but we liked it. Used their... More
