We spent two nights in August 2014. Our host, David, was very kind, helpful and also an excellent cook. Breakfasts are to die for. Benoit the dog was also very friendly, as well as his colleague Eddy. The dogs' presence made the inn most warm. Easy walk to main street in Baie St-Paul and to waterfront. David offered even to... We loved every minute of our time spent at this beautiful B&B. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were amazing - fresh baked bread every morning, made by David! David is very generous and made us feel welcomed. What sets this B&B apart from the others is that it's laid-back and feels like home: we talked with... More

we really enjoyed our stay in August. Rooms are friendly decorated, a nice bonfire in the backyard is bringing people together and the host is extremely friendly. I am quite sad to give such a good feedback, as my chances to get a room will get smaller - but we were so happy to stay there and felt so welcomed,... More

My wife and I stayed one night at the Gite TerreCiel in the third week of June. From the moment of our arrival we were happy with our choice. David, our host, was welcoming and helpful, and was willing to let us practice our French or speak in English when necessary. Our room was charming, with a lovely view over... More

I don't write reviews very often (in fact, never!), but we were VERY surprised by the place we choosed. The house is old, but it hides many details making sure that you will want to return. The place is superb. Private bathrooms, big backyard with access to the river, outside fireplace, few hammocks for peaceful nap. Very nice breakfast in... More

We stayed only one night at the Gite TerreCiel. I wish we had stayed longer. I will definitely go back and would highly recommend this B&B. The place is charming. Every detail is attended to from the lemongrass soap in the bathroom to the candles lit in the sitting porch in the evening. Absolutely idyllic. Breakfast of homemade bread -... More

We stayed at the Gite TerreCiel for two nights and it was just perfect...I'll definitely go back !! The host David is unlike any other. Perfect breakfast with local products, freshly baked breads, and homemade waffles, pain doré, etc. This is a quiet place where you'll relax and have a great night of sleep! Close to everthing in Baie St-Paul,... More

David and his family provide an amazing stay! Home made and local foods only at breakfast. Guests are made to feel extremely comfortable and relaxed in the character-filled rooms. David has great suggestions for places to see and eat in the lovely little town. We miss Benoit already.

Just back from a three day stay with David and the very wonderful four footed Benoit who was learning to open the door with its new latch. You cannot do better: lovely room and bath, the most comfortable bed ever, and super warmth with the winter window wide open, the thermostat off for the night. A wonderful breakfast, different daily... More
