We were upgraded to a suite on the top floor, and you can see that the woodwork throughout the large Victorian house has been renovated to a high standard. Our suite was quite modern, a huge bed, ceiling fans, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom were all lovely. Just as well it was modern as I found the two ventriloquists dolls on... More

The Clockmakers Inn is a cozy, quiet, and absolutely remarkable space to enjoy a night away. The house is an incredible example of period architecture and its easy to loose yourself in all the details of times long since past. Having said that, our "kings room" included a nice blend of period charm with modern touches like a jacuzzi tub,... More

The Inn was beautiful on a spacious lot where we could enjoy a glass of wine sitting on the lawn chairs. Rick, the owner was gracious as well as very funny( a zest for life) and he also owned the pub downtown with live music where we received a discount. The breakfast served was one of the best we have... More

Sarah came out to greet us. she gave us the house tour, made us feel comfortable and asked if there was anything we needed. She has a standard breakfast menu and were were able to choose a time and meal to our liking. The cunard room was one of the less expensive rooms but you would not know it. The... More

We arrived late. The owner said "no problem just call when you get here". In under a minute he was there to welcome us. The entire place is immaculate! The room adorable, with so many extra touches, including a make up mirror. The bed extremely comfortable. The inn is even better than it's on line pictures. There was a breakfast menu... More

Windsor is an old town, not very big. We picked it as a place to stay over on our Bay of Fundy exploration. The reviews in T.A. helped us to pick the Clockmaker's Inn. It's easy to find…so distinctive looking. We were enthusiastically greeted by one of the owners, Sarah, and made to feel at home right away. The inn... More

One of the finest little hotels I've ever stayed in. About 45 minutes north of Halifax, at the entrance of the Annapolis Valley, it's an ideal spot as a base to explore either. Family run, and what a fun family! The gathering for drinks on the verandah was a high point of my visit to Nova Scotia. The rooms are... More

Beautiful, beautiful inn! We enjoyed a 7 night stay and loved every minute of it. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the breakfasts were very tasty, the service was great, enjoyed talking with the owners and Karen, and the children were delightful when we got to see them. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

We stayed for five nights. The room was beautiful and appointed with period pieces. The bathroom was new and ensuite. But the breakfast! Lots of food served either in the eating nook or in the formal dining room. We had a great time and would stay there again
