A very bright hard-edged lobby with an enormous chandelier - complete with piano player. This 70s-era place is certainly showing its age. nice garden, good conference rooms, extensive buffet breakfast ahnd comfortable rooms and bathrooms

The hotel aged more than 40 years, but has been renovated. Its location in Shiraz facilitate visiting touristic centers. It's just 20 minutes walk from Arg-e-Krimkhan and Vakil Bazar. Food is good and staff are very friendly.

It is not as good as other 5 star hotels in Dubai, but it is really good. The food was perfect. It has 2 restaurants, and the breakfast was the best. I've heard it was one of the best hotels in the whole Middle East during the 70s.

Rumor had it that this was the Hilton before the revolution - can't seem to verify that but it makes sense. A very bright hard-edged lobby with an enormous chandelier - complete with piano player (the American song-book, interestingly enough, plus some Strauss waltzes). Straight out the doors leads to a beautiful garden setting for dinner. Traditional Iranian food -... More

We stayed there last week for several days, still the food is one of the best in shiraz and the staff are very cooperative and friendly. I really enjoyed my time there, and although the hotel is old but all hotels with good location in Iran are old.

Homa is situated at a very good location in Shiraz. The markets and restaurants are a 20 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel has good rooms, food and services. Parking was safe, which was a key point for us since we were on motorcycles. The hotel staff is very friendly and was personally looking into each guests needs. I... More

During one of my recent visits to the Middle East I decided to visit over a weekend Shiraz and Persepolis with the Iranian visa upon arrival program. Advised by a tour operator in France I chose this hotel as it is supposed to be the top hotel in Shiraz (an Intercontinental hotel prior to the revolution). The flight is a... More

This 70s-era place is certainly showing its age - rooms and public areas desperately need to be upgraded. Officially this is a 5* hotel and priced accordingly. I would rate it 2*+. Represents very poor value for money. And let me be clear, nobody would consider staying here if it was located in any European country. Reception staff were pleasant... More

This is a very large and modern hotel in Shiraz. The hotel is obviously well considered by professionals, as there was a large group of doctors staying in it for a medical conference. It has a large garden, and a very pleasant restaurant, overlooking the garden. Even though there were large numbers of people at breakfast each morning, the room... More
