The hotel is pretentious but it really needs major changes. Right now it's being refurbished with the result that only one old service lift is working, so to say, and I finished up climbing the staircases. The toilets in the hall are dirty, the fridge in the room was so noisy I had to switch it off, the staff carries... More

The Homa hotel is conveniently located in Shiraz, close to the major attractions and within a fairly easy drive out of the city to Persepolis and Necropolis, both must-see attractions. This is a hotel that would have been grand in its day, but is a little tired nowadays although any westerner visiting Iran would do well to accept that standards... More

The hotel is fairly old, but it is serviced quite well surprisingly, It is fairly big and we saw quite a few foreigners who were staying. Their food shops inside where a bit pricey but the food came out quite fast

The service provided is opposite of what is advertised. the rooms are old with old sheets. food is bad and the service is horrible. I ordered a filet mignon but what i got was a hamburger stick with french fries with a price of filet. The staff kept asking me if i have a room there to make sure i... More

5star hotel but with European standards no more than 3.Needs renovation.Yet clean and tidy with hospitable staff and nice garden on the backyard that is giving the sense of sweet nostalgia of the past decade.

I stayed for two nights. The hotel could use an update, although I have to admit it was kind of cool walking the grounds and imagining what it was like at its peak (my guide explained that this was THE place to stay). Service: The one thing I'll say about this hotel is that the staff tries. The porters/bellhops are... More

A nicely appointed hotel with reasonable facilities and good location. Breakfast buffet was substantial and any complaint would be unfair. The hotel can be very busy in the mornings as all tour groups get ready for their visits but waiters coped well especially if asked politely.

I was trying to plan my Shiraz trip for Eid and found Homa Hotel on Tripadvisor. I found hotel details online, wrote them an email, asking for one night booking. I had no reply for a couple of days so I tried to give them a call. It was after hours for the booking center so reception staff said they... More

I fully agree with, and second the comments of, reviewer Mikaramram (from Finland). Restaurant staff weren't service-oriented, and the Taxi Desk staff should be avoided as much as possible in order not to be financially taken advantage of. I, too, had A/C problems with my first room, and took a lot of arguing in order to shift to an appropriate... More

I was most impressed with this hotel in Shiraz in the centre of town. I stayed there three nights and the staff were very friendly and most helpful. My single room was large, with ample facilities. The bathroom was also large and very clean. There was a kettle provided in the room with free coffee and tea. Water was also... More
