Exterior of the hotel looks great, as does the lobby, but rooms are in need of upgrading. The first room we were given had AC problem and had to change rooms. Location is ok, although there are no restaurants in the hotel's close vicinity and the menu in hotel restaurant is a bit one dimensional. Front desk service was great.... More

I was very impressed by the standard of the Homa Hotel in Shiraz. Iranian hotel ratings differ greatly from western standards but I found this hotel to be great value for money. Room was big and clean, bathroom was spacious and an excellent assortment of amenities were provided. Dinner was buffet style served outside in the gardens with live music... More

This hotel was built before the revolution and looks like it hasn't been refurbished since. The room and bathroom were clean, but definitely dated and both very dimly lit. The floor is covered with patterned carpeting that makes it nearly impossible to find any small objects you may drop. The bed linens were rough. No extra pillows were available. The... More

I stayed at the Homa Hotel in Shiraz for two nights as part of a group tour. The hotel is definitely not a 5 stars but certainly lower. While it is reasonably clean, it is shabby and oldish. It seems no renovation has recently taken place. Breakfast was not particularly good, with a poor choice of food.

it is classified as a 5 * hotel but the range is quite different from the European 5*. I would say a good 3*. It is an anonymous tall building that even if it has been restored hasn't lost a certain run down atmosphere . Anyway both the room and the bathroom were very clean an it can be a... More

This is a large hotel built long time ago but well-maintained. For the summer evenings, you will enjoy having a dinner at the back garden of the hotel where lots of flowers, trees and sound of water make the ambiance so pleasing. the quality of the food is good and the light is very romantic. This is what you'd like... More

I will only give 3.5 stars for this hotel. The room is a bit run down and the breakfast place is just average. I heard there is a much better one just partially opened in Shiraz, but don't know the name.

An adequate hotel, nothing special. Lobby looks quite old and run down. Rooms are clean and the views from the rooms are fantastic. However, this is the least memorable hotel among all the hotels we've stayed during our 10 day trip.

Shiraz is a city with so many beautiful things to do and see. As with most of Iran, hotels are not in the same league as their historical/natural sites and people’s friendliness. Homa hotel is regarded as a five star hotel, but compared to international standards it is three stars. Lobby is large and bustling with life all the time.... More

Good Service & a roof top restaurant with the View of the whole city. The Rooms were very clean & i think one of the best hotels in Shiraz. We had Mediterranean food & Definitely worth trying. Service is a bit slow & yes language barrier exists. ( few staff were able to speak some English.
