A wonderful weekend in the Brecon Beacons National Park. We arrived on Thursday evening to a warm.welcome from Sue,despite.the wet weather outside. Our room.was.comfortable, spacious and well.appointed. Sue recommended a.few.local.eateries. The Dragon was superb. After a good night's sleep,we were set up.for the day by a delicious full breakfast. Sue again gave us great advice over places to.visit, routes to... More

This is possibly one of the best places we've stayed at for a while.... Being florists and not only being guests at a wedding also attending we booked ty Gwyn to stay in the cottage which gave us plenty of space to do some buttonholes for the morning... We said we would be there at 5 but didn't get there... More

This is an A* B&B (and I've stayed in a few). The hosts (Sue & Pete) were welcoming without being intrusive, there was plenty of local information available and Ty Gwyn is five minutes walk from the centre of Crickhowell, but set back from the road in a pretty garden, so is central but wonderfully peaceful. the Dylan room was... We spent a lovely weekend here and felt very well looked after, from the initial quick response on email to the friendly welcome on arrival, we stayed in the separate bake house which had a lovely kitchenette supplied with milk, tea and coffee and hot chocolate. We enjoyed being able to sit in our little living room. Breakfast was lovely... More

Thoroughly enjoyed 2 nights here in a spacious, well equipped and spotless room. The owners were friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellently cooked using local ingredients. We slept well in very comfortable beds. We really couldn't have asked for more! We were a little alarmed at the description of the narrow entrance through a stone arched gateway, but there... More

My husband and my in laws stayed here for one night on route from London to Cardigan and it was a great decision. Such a warm welcome after a long drive. We were allowed to settle in and then were told about the options avaiable to us. Good walking and food options. We took all the advice and made the... More

We came to first visit Ty Gwyn in 2014 with our 2 boys then aged 8 and 6 - and had a wonderful 3 or 4 days. So we returned this year - in April again - without them, to get a bit more walking under our belt. We stayed in The Cottage, which is a separate little building with... More

Ty Gwyn is a lovely comfortable B&B, with friendly caring hosts. Three of us (couple + friend) shared a large en-suite room. The beds were very comfortable and the tea and biscuits were a nice touch. The cooked breakfast the next morning was excellent and set us up for a morning hike to Table Mountain.

We've been coming back to Ty Gwyn every year for a few years and every time we receive a warm welcome from Sue & Pete. Lovely accommodation always spotless and great breakfast. Will be going back next year.

Had a great stay at this B&B, albeit short as I only stayed for one night. Found it extremely clean, comfortable an cozy. In a good spot too. Very kind owners and great breakfast! Would definitely recommend.
