The rooms are fabulous and full of character and there are plenty of guides to the local area all around the B&B, as well as excellent advice on hand from the owners. Food is superb, especially to prepare for an energetic day of waking! The gardens are superb, with a myriad of lush plants. Crickhowel is a charming town including... More

What a lovely place! Beautiful house in a stunning location. We were very warmly welcomed and looked after by Sue and Pete. We stayed in the Dylan Room on the 14/03/2015. Gorgeous spacious room with a large modern en suite. The building is simply beautiful and the garden with its river just behind is small but a real haven. The... More

I recommend staying in the little cottage at Ty Gwyn. It's a charming place with lots of lovely features and near a little brook. So comfortable, so relaxing. Breakfast in the main house. Try the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, sourced from local suppliers, delicious! The hosts,Sue and Pete made our stay a real treat.

Great bnb, Full English breakfast, although after a good night's drinking in the bridge end Inn was hard to muster the appitite, the landlady put the sausages into sandwiches and brought them out into the lovely garden, where I was sat getting some fresh air. The separate old bake cottage is the best bet, more privacy. All in all a... More

Ty Gwyn is a stunning and charming B&B, based just on the edge of the beautiful village of Crickhowell. Faultless service and warm welcome from owners Sue and Pete who couldnt do enough to help with my visit.

Fabulous, friendly and comfortable. I had 2 nights in the Vaughan room, beautifully decorated, comfy bed, tv, generous tea & coffee and the fluffiest bath towels ever. Sue and Pete really know how to make their guests feel special - from the excellent Welsh breakfast to the warmest of Welsh welcomes. Diolch, Cherie

As a basecamp for walking, boating, music festivals or a gastro tour, it is difficult to beat this 18th century coaching house turned B&B. Owners Sue and Pete are welcoming and make guests feel right at home. Large, comfortable rooms, a massive cooked Welsh breakfast to set you up for the day, endless hot water, ample off-road parking, and within... More

We stayed at Ty Gwyn for three nights this week. Sue and Peter were lovely hosts and went out of their way to meet our needs. The house is on the main road but has off street parking, and is within walking distance to town eateries and shops. Even though the house is on a main road, your stay is... More

What a lovely place to stay, Sue and Pete were so welcoming and helpful. Room was so clean and comfortable and the breakfast was superb. The garden was very pretty with plenty of seating. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at this lovely bed and breakfast in the Brecon Beacons.
