We came to first visit Ty Gwyn in 2014 with our 2 boys then aged 8 and 6 - and had a wonderful 3 or 4 days. So we returned this year - in April again - without them, to get a bit more walking under our belt. We stayed in The Cottage, which is a separate little building with... More

Ty Gwyn is a lovely comfortable B&B, with friendly caring hosts. Three of us (couple + friend) shared a large en-suite room. The beds were very comfortable and the tea and biscuits were a nice touch. The cooked breakfast the next morning was excellent and set us up for a morning hike to Table Mountain.

We've been coming back to Ty Gwyn every year for a few years and every time we receive a warm welcome from Sue & Pete. Lovely accommodation always spotless and great breakfast. Will be going back next year.

Had a great stay at this B&B, albeit short as I only stayed for one night. Found it extremely clean, comfortable an cozy. In a good spot too. Very kind owners and great breakfast! Would definitely recommend.

A warm welcome from Sue & Pete into their homely, characterful B&B. The Dylan room was well equipped and the bed very comfy. Lots of useful walking info and guides. Breakfast was delicious and the surprise homemade Welsh cakes we got in the room in the afternoon were fantastic!

The rooms are fabulous and full of character and there are plenty of guides to the local area all around the B&B, as well as excellent advice on hand from the owners. Food is superb, especially to prepare for an energetic day of waking! The gardens are superb, with a myriad of lush plants. Crickhowel is a charming town including... More

What a lovely place! Beautiful house in a stunning location. We were very warmly welcomed and looked after by Sue and Pete. We stayed in the Dylan Room on the 14/03/2015. Gorgeous spacious room with a large modern en suite. The building is simply beautiful and the garden with its river just behind is small but a real haven. The... More

I recommend staying in the little cottage at Ty Gwyn. It's a charming place with lots of lovely features and near a little brook. So comfortable, so relaxing. Breakfast in the main house. Try the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, sourced from local suppliers, delicious! The hosts,Sue and Pete made our stay a real treat.

Great bnb, Full English breakfast, although after a good night's drinking in the bridge end Inn was hard to muster the appitite, the landlady put the sausages into sandwiches and brought them out into the lovely garden, where I was sat getting some fresh air. The separate old bake cottage is the best bet, more privacy. All in all a... More

Ty Gwyn is a stunning and charming B&B, based just on the edge of the beautiful village of Crickhowell. Faultless service and warm welcome from owners Sue and Pete who couldnt do enough to help with my visit.
