We took our two young boys aged 8 and 5 for a weekend hillwalking in the Easter holidays, staying at Ty Gwyn. We weren't sure whether a B&B was the right choice until we got there and now we would go back in a shot ! We were thoroughly spoilt by Sue and Peter's welcome, their breakfasts, kindness, helpfulness and... More

Staying at Ty Gwyn was, as always, a fabulous experience, in a beautiful setting, with lovely hosts. Sue and Pete take care of your every need, and offer up valuable local knowledge and advice. The accommodation is immaculate and the breakfast really special. We would always recommend staying at Ty Gwyn as a basis for exploring the stunning area.

What a brilliant place to stay. Warm, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and an exceptional host. Sue could not have been more helpful whether is was about walking routes, places to eat, or places of interest. A highly recommended B and B

We stayed in the cottage, which was very cosy and warm. Good breakfast. Sue and Pete were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They gave us help and advice on places to visit. Brecon Beacons is a fantastic place to just be!, great location, relaxing stay.

Just returned from a 3 night stay with my husband and two girls for a family wedding, stayed in the cottage which was lovely, sue and Pete such a friendly couple and couldn't do enough for us throughout our stay. Breakfast was lovely and as other guests gave commented poached eggs beautiful. Couple of minutes walk into lovely village of... More

This is the second time I've stayed at Ty Gwyn. I went with my two business partners to go walking and take some time out to discuss future business plans. Sue and Pete gave us a warm welcome and, as previously, were cheery and helpful at all times. We liked the cottage, as it gave us somewhere private to sit... More

What a lovely place, high standard of accommodation, coupled with fantastic hospitality from Sue and Pete. We only booked our trip last minute but were allocated the cottage. I could not believe how fortunate we were to find such a great establishment at such short notice. The cottage is a lovely conversion of what was probably an old bake house,... More

Crickhowell is one of our favourite places to walk and staying with Sue and Pete at their beautiful B&B makes the experience even better. Although this was a return visit, it was the first time that we had stayed in their cottage and it was a fabulous and enjoyable few days. Sue and Pete were as welcoming as ever and... More

This was the final B&B on our tour of Wales.......and the best! We had stayed in some really nice places but this was the best one. On arrival we were told that there was a problem with our room, repairs! However, we had been assigned to the cottage. Wow!! What a real gem that was. Our own lounge and kitchen!... More

What an outstanding B&B. Friendly welcome (loved the Welsh cake!). Comfy rooms. Tasty breakfast. BUT ... the best thing was the helpful advice on what to do and where to go (This made our first trip to the Brecon Beacons a huge success). They even had free wifi but I only discovered this on checking out. Worth a visit.
