We were only passing through for one night. But Julian and Alison provided such a warm welcome to their beautiful home that we are already thinking it would be an excellent idea to return for a few days holiday. The rooms are spacious, elegant and spotlessly clean and the breakfast a delight. And there are plenty of good places to... More

We booked two nights in Glan y Dwr B&B for a wedding in May this year and had a highly enjoyable stay in this homely B&B. We booked two rooms, Sugarloaf and Skirrid, both were to an immaculate standard with everything that you would need. Very clean and very spacious rooms, tastefully decorated. The owners were very welcoming and the... More

We stayed here as a couple on our first trip to Wales. We were so happy to have such a beautiful place to stay, house grounds and the lovely room. Breakfast was delicious (some of the best eggs I have ever had). Everything is locally sourced. The Hosts, Alison and Julian were amazing about giving us space, but making us... More

This was our first stop in our two week visit to Wales, and what a great introduction. The house is beautifully decorated, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Sugar Loaf room, which was a large room with a comfortable double bed. It has a large bathroom with an excellent shower. There is a little... More

I booked this bed and breakfast after seeing glowing reviews, and after staying here I totally agree! Our stay here cannot be described as anything less than perfect. Alison and Julian are lovely hosts, and although when staying at any establishment you would be described as 'guests', here we really did feel like we were guests in their beautiful home.... More

OK - I must declare an interest. Alison and Julian are friends. But our experience was consistent with all other TripAdvisor reviews. I would expect nothing less than the highest standards of hospitality from Alison and Julian, and they did not disappoint. Everything was brilliant, from the accommodation to the breakfast, and of course the genuine warm welcome offered by... More

Thank you Alison and Julian for a fantastic nights stay. We stayed in the smallest room in the B&B and it wasn't small at all - it was positively spacious including a large bathroom, sofa, big bed etc. Julian gave us tea and cake on arrival and we enjoyed reading newspapers and magazines which were in abundance. In the morning... More

It's usually possible to find something wrong when you're staying away from home, no matter how small a niggle. This lovely B and B breaks the rule here. It's run by two people whose entire mission seems to be to make you feel welcome, comfortable, well-fed and rested. It astonishes me that something in this price range can offer so... More
