I went here today with my beautiful son..we walked through the graveyard, had to climb down a huge bank as we were lost and stumbled upon this pub. Loved the setting, little garden with tables overlooking the river, quaint and picturesque...no idea what the food was like but if you want to wile away a few hours with a jug... More

Pop in here with some family members after a long day of walking during the Easter weekend for a drink and a bit to eat, to start with the landlord repeatably ignored us until what I presume was his wife came along, she was rude and unhelpful. During our time in the bar I over heard the landlord telling a... More

It was a Saturday night and there were only us and two other customers. My partner had a beef pie with sauté potatoes, the top of the pie (which can be bought in packs of four) wasn't cooked and raw in the middle, there were about five small extremely well done potatoes, not good enough especially as we paid good... The Bridge End Inn is situated right on the river Usk, with a beer garden that's a delight to sit in on a summers day and food can be eaten outside too. Locals are friendly and there is the occasional Karaoke night at the weekends which are great fun for locals and visitors alike. we were there when The Wales... More

We visited the Bridge End Hotel for food twice during half term week, both at early evening. The service was Welsh, welcoming and warm. Even though we had not booked and the pub was busy, the hospitable landlady still made time for a quick chat and seated us as soon as she could. The quantities were large, fairly well-priced and... Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and the service was great all evening. The food was beautiful and there was lots of it for what you pay. The Inn is situated in a lovely location with the beer garden overlooking the River Usk - perfect for the summer months. The locals are very friendly and chatty.

Big mistake entering this pub, very hostile welcome from the landlord and a few locals. My Finance and I had just climbed Table Mountain so after 4 hours of hiking we were very tired and in much need of a hot meal and a drink, so too exhausted to look for another pub we sat down. We ordered scampi and... More

We were on a canal trip and stopped off at Bridge End Inn for lunch. We had different salads which were tasty and filling. We were served promptly and the beer was good too. It was pleasant to sit by the river near the famous bridge and plan our afternoon sightseeing at Crickhowell.

Food was terrible and expensive. Ordered the lemon sole and only one small fillet on the plate! Frozen Veg on side. Hubbies BBQ chicken was tough and reheated. Expensive. Service was friendly & lovely inside.

We stopped here on our way into Crickhowell from the canal and wished we had explored further. Food was okay but the staff did not greet us or smile at all. The "beer garden" had a nice view over the river, but also a view of the traffic.
