The hotel was dirty, the breakfast was awful, even the UHT milk was off. I realise that the owners have had some difficulties but when you are accepting peoples hard earned money for such an appalling hotel you really need to think about whether you are being fair.

we stayed during the cob sales this year. It was half the price of where we usually stay. It was warm, relaxed and friendly. Comfortable room with small on suite, view of the showfield and a great breakfast. Really enjoyed staying here.

I've stayed at The Cedars many times over the past 15 years and keep coming back. It's an old fashioned B&B with a warm welcome and great locally sourced food. It's not the Ritz but that's why the prices are reasonable and Vic and Huelwen Morris make it feel like a second home.

Whole place is/looks tired and worn. Was a lot of noise in the early hours caused by ground floor alarm. Bathroom/toilet very shabby and cleanliness of same lacking . Had misfortune to have very small room located next door to room housing three Samoyed dogs who barked at the slightest noise

Our family stay at the Cedars was lovely. It is run by a husband and wife. The Morris's are very kind and welcoming. The food was fabulous, a great breakfast every morning cooked by Vic himself. The price is also very reasonable. I will definitely stay at the Cedars again in the future. They also have a decent wifi connection... More

Stayed at this place a couple of years ago whilst working my way around Wales on business. I guess it's just one of those old-school places run as a hobby / on a shoestring as there's not much in the way of pizazz about it. The family in charge were pleasant enough, although they had told when booking that internet... More

I Stayed in The Cedars for one night while attending a dog show in the showgrounds nearby.. Even though we arrived quite late. We were given a warm welcome, and a very much needed glass of wine.. Our dogs were welcome to stay & at a very reasonable cost.. Superb Breakfast.. set us up for the day..

My family and I have stayed at The Cedars Guesthouse many times over the last 10 years. The rooms are basic, on three floors. and vary from single to family accomodation. Some rooms are not en suite. Prices are reasonable. The Morris family make residents very welcome. There are beautiful views from the front bedrooms over the Royal Welsh Showground... More
