We spent a weekend at this lovely guest house. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated, and our every need was catered for - even to the provision of first aid kits and sewing kits in the bathroom. My bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it! Our hosts Ian and Laura were extremely helpful and... More

Laura and Ian were fab hosts. They were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating, especially as I have a food allergy! They recommended places to see in the area and treated us very well for the 2 nights we were there. The b&b is kept spotless throughout. The rooms are comfy, clean and cosy. And they cook up a delicious breakfast!... More

It may only have three stars on the sign outside but our stay here was a five star experience. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and the room we were given was both comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast must be seen to be believed but it is fair to say you will not go hungry when you stay... More

The B&B is under the new management of Ian and Laura Botterill; from the reviews I have read it they are carrying on the friendly and accommodating attitude of the previous owner - nothing was too much trouble. The guest house is very clean and comfortable, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of the rooms - but I want to... More

Just back from a 2 night stay at The Hollies and had a wonderful time. Joy is a great host and very friendly and accommodating. On arrival she showed me to my room (single room) and where the bathroom was (just down the hall, but you have sole use as all other rooms are en-suite). The room was small but... More

I stayed in the Chalet in the garden. Pleasant enough with 2 single beds and a chair. The toilet and shower were separate in another building close by, nice and clean. The website stated that access was available through the back gate, but actually, as the gate doesn't open or close from the outside, this isn't possible, so going through... More

Stayed here with friends on a cycling holiday recently. The owner wasn't actually there when we arrived at the arranged time but soon turned up and showed us to our rooms. Our rooms were fine. The kettle didn't work in ours but the lady replaced it immediately and then brought us biscuits and milk for our tea - I think... More

A friend & I stayed in The Chalet, was clean & nice to be able to sit on veranda with dogs when sun came out. Garden was beautiful & very clean & quiet. Breakfast was plentiful & cooked fresh. Very friendly welcome on arrival.
