We stayed at the Acorn Court Country House for an overnight stay as my husband was holding a meeting the next day in the centre of Llandrindod. What a wonderful location and a well thought out B & B. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a lovely ensuite. Sarah the owner offered coffee or tea on arrival which was served with home made cake. Sarah was very helpful, recommending the Laughing Dog in Howey for dinner. We were the only people in the restaurant but we enjoyed a lovely meal with very good service.

The breakfast room at the Acorn Court was very comfortable, there was so much to chose from, including fresh blackberries, strawberries, etc. The breakfast was delicious, served with homemade toasted bread. Everywhere was spotless and well worth the £35.00pp per night. Sarah even gave me a lift into town, pointing out local attractions, shops etc. I hope my husband has to visit Llandrindod again, I look forward to another lovely stay!

This is outstanding rural bed and breakfast accommodation set in fields with sheep and, at this time of year, lambs. The views are of the local hills and older farm house. There is ample parking and the house is ten years old and very smart.

There were even new toothbrushes! It was all extremely clean and tidy and well maintained. It is those minor final touches which make all the difference.

The people who own this B&B are friendly and have been in the business for 40 years. They used to own the larger B&B just across the valley. They still own the farm land around and about but have gone into 'semi retirement' as this B&B has fewer rooms than their old one.

The breakfast is outstanding too. There were numerous cereals to chose from, as well as...
