Food wouldn't Evan be classed as average!! Service was absolutely discussing! The older lady who works there was rude and a nationalist. She had no respect for me or any of my friends and family. We were all highly disappointed with her behaviour and attitude. At the end of the poorly cooked meal, we decided to tell the lady that... More

On arrival(pre booked) we was told that we would have to sit on separate tables which was not mentioned when booked, we had to wait 10 minutes to be served the meat from the carvery, the cook/chef was rude and unwelcoming to us and her staff, some of our party had to wait for the vegetarian meal, which we was told,"I will... We stayed at the Highbury Guest House recently and the whole building is very tired looking, shabby and needs money spent on it. Our duvet had a stain and holes it, in the bathroom shower we had to turn the water down a bit or it would have flooded the room. The room was very dusty and we found wedding... More

Just had one night stay at the Highbury in Cardigan. Our room was at the back and rhrough a bit of a rabbit warren - up stairs and down stairs. We had a twin share which was actually 2 rooms - one with a double bed and one with a single plus a couch.........both had their own TV. Nothing to... More

Stayed with my husband and a group of friends, so between us we took up 5 rooms in this B&B. We had a lovely warm welcome from the owners and were shown to a clean, bright room - much more modern than I had been expecting from photographs of the outside of the place. Our room (no. 2) was clean... More

No reception desk which i found a bit strange but warm greeting all the same. No lift which made carrying the bags up and down stairs (room was on top floor) a bit difficult but did have some help with this which was appreciated. The room was lovely and very clean, had a good selection of teas and coffees and... More

Not a very welcoming b&b,and the room was very out dated, the on suite was really quite dirty, the bin had not been emptied from the previous occupant and contained "used sanitary towels” the only person who spoke to us was the cleaner/chef needless to say I would not recommend this establishment and will not be returning.
