Have just got back from our 'stay-cation' and very enjoyable four days at the Gwbert. Beautiful views from our room (3) -Bay window with two chairs to sit and watch the waves. Very comfortable king size bed. Large en-suite, all ok, but shower cubicle needs some work. This is an older style hotel, but the staff are friendly and eager... More

we stayed for 4 nights in room 11 on the second floor, a clean and pleasant room, comfortable beds, modern corner shower and plenty of complimentary showergel and soap, housekeeping was on request and all requests were met promptly except for the broken shaverlight in the bathroom. a baywindow overlooking the estuary with two tub chairs was the perfect place... Rooms perfectly adequate. Lovely greeting when we first arrived, all very efficient. Good restaurant and bar with a separate good quality pool room. My room had a sea view. Good breakfast. On site parking. Overall. a perfectly adequate one-night stay comprising good standard and great service.

Stayed here with a group of golfing friends after playing in the Cardigan Golf Club Open. This is a super little hotel in an excellent location for stunning sea views and within almost walking distance of the Golf Club. Our room whilst not huge had everything we could have wanted for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean with lashings... More

Our room itself was standard, but the views from the hotel restaurant and deck were stunning. We sat on the deck and enjoyed dinner, drinks, and the sunset. The food was fantastic. The staff was very friendly. We would stay again.

Visited on a business trip, superb room for me overlooking the bay but my colleague had a room at the back of the hotel - worse if paying yourself. On a really positive note the steak was superb, best I have tasted in the UK. Staff were friendly accommodating. Would like to visit on a leisure break sometime

we arrived here in darkness as we had been struggling to find an available hotel, when we were shown the room it was quite small and old-fashioned with a view of the car park, which was annoying because when we left i picked up a flyer which gave the prices, and it seems we were charged for a room with sea view which... I stayed at the Gwbert recently (11 th Sept) and it was perfect. I was stating on business so stay I lots of hotels. I was most certainly in the best room (12) and the views were breath taking. The staff couldn't do enough to help and the room was beautiful with every luxury included. I dined in the flat... More

My family and I (6 of us) visited the Gwbert Hotel for a meal a few days ago. When we booked they said that we'd have to sit in the bar as they were very busy but when we got there we were really delighted to have been given a table in the conservatory. The view from here was terriific.... More

The hotel is very clean, and the beds are pretty standard - not luxurious but perhaps closer to basic. Plenty of parking, and the hotel was full when we were there. If you saw mentions of the breakfasts in other reviews, they were not wrong - really good fare! Also the restaurant is very popular in the evenings with the... More
