Stayed for one night last week, Camped in a tent and the pitch was shocking, so wet and boggy you didn't need to hammer the pegs in and you could push them in with one finger. The facilities are the most basic I have ever come across. The lady who took the money off us never gave us any indication... More

On of the worst sites we have ever stayed on in over 25 years. Do not attempt access with average caravan of large motor home. Pitches so close we could pass the salt to our neighbours. Came back in camper to find no room and some one else using our electric hook up No TV signal..

Asking for a space late on a n aweful day we were asked back, "what do you think the sign at the gate means? Or did someone take it off? It says no vacancies, why do you think I put it there?" Facilities looking old, too. Place could be nice, nice views and nice landscape.

We stayed here on our recent trip to Harris, the site we had was very muddy our awning was filthy and as it was on a slope the water ran in when it rained. The toilet & shower block really need updating, there was only 1 shower and 2 toilets for the whole site, they were not the cleanest and... More

The facilities are awful .The 2 toilets are drafty because the doors do not shut properly and have gaps between a quarter and half an inch wide around both sides so you not only do you sit on the loo in a draught but you can see who is sitting on the loo. One of the toilet doors does not... More

Minch view is a beautiful campsite owned and managed my a charming lady who is the fourth generation in her family living in the home. Facilities are basic, but it really has everything you need. It's lovely and peaceful, cool clean air and beautiful views across the Minch. South Harris has a landscape of it's own, and Minch View fits... More

Minch view campsite is beautiful, just off the amazing Golden Road and looking out across the Minch to the mainland. Check out the great views off the hill nearby looking along the coast and over the water (I'll see if I can find photos and will add them here). The campsite itself is simple but lovely, no fancy facilities but... More

The location and views here are great- you can look over the sea to one side and a freshwater loch behind you. It is very peaceful and tranquil here. We did ask for a hookup but were told there were none available- confusing as at least one hook up socket was not in use. We are not fussy about facilities,... More

Very pictureque site with quite a small area for caravans and campervans. It's quite tight to get into with a caravan. Beware the very boggy ground surrounding the hardstanding - one unfortunate van found to their cost that its about 30cm of very soft mud. Really enjioyed staying here and lots to do round about. Quite a basic site but... More

The site is in a beautiful remote location by the coast. It is accessed via the picturesque single-track 'Golden Road' which runs east from the A859 south of Tarbert. There is a single rectangular gravelled area with hook-ups for about 5 motor caravans, and one 'overflow' site without a hookup. There is also space for tents. The facilities are basic,... More
