A warm welcome to a lovely guest house within walking distance of the Harris/North Uist ferry, a well stocked local shop and a very good restaurant. Lovely views over the loch, especially from the guest lounge and dining areas. Good breakfast and a friendly, knowledgeable host.

Very good B&B overlooking a Loch. Very clean and the host very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast very good couldn't have asked for more. Anchorage restaurant in walking distance is a must for dinner. Great atmosphere all round.

After visiting the Island back in August with my Husband and two young sons , we fell so much in love with Harris, that it made us reconsider our lives and that what we want for our Family. So much so that we went home and put our house straight on the market! 4 weeks later I was up in... More

Located just outside the habour approx 15 min walk.Greeted by a friendly dog but personally not a fan of doggy smells.Basic pine interior.Large comfy bed but not keen on the shiny red duvet and pillows. The shower was located behind a sliding door and the fan didnt work so everything steamed up.TV in room and the use of the lounge upstairs... A friendly and unpretentious guest house, conveniently located 15 minutes walk from Leverburgh ferry port and pier. Rooms are warm, comfy and well-furnished, and breakfasts excellent, from a wide menu. There is plenty of parking available. I would recommend it and stay again next time I am in the area As regards the Leverburgh area, two words of caution for... More

Grimisdale House is located close to Leverburgh, right on the side of a loch. Beautiful views are thus there to be admired from outside the house and also from within. This property is ideally situated for the harbour area, ferries, and for boat trips to St Kilda or other locations. Grimisdale can, thus, be recommended as a convenient, and an... More

I had a spotlessly clean and comfortable room, sadly not overlooking the loch which the B&B sits by. The owners were friendly and helpful and steered me in the direction of an excellent local restaurant. The B&B overlooks a loch with few other buildings in sight. I could have stayed for a month.

Stayed for just one night and was not long enough. Wonderful location very friendly owners. We sat overlooking the loch on the evening with a glass of wine and thought it could not get any better. The room was cosy and very comfy bed. Breakfast was great. Would highly recommend .
