A last minute booking. Very friendly. Double room could not be faulted with spacious bathroom ensuite with goodies with which to pamper yourself. Excellent breakfast. Separate sitting area in breakfast room and comfortable conservatory to view the surrounding scenery.

Shona and Chris welcomed us to their home and made us feel like part of the family. The room and food were first class. We were able to relax watching the ferry coming and going in the distance in the conservatory. Would recommend and definitely book again.Sara and Steve

Well to be honest there not many places near this place. We came for the Kilda Cruises boat trip and felt like we found some new friends, Shona and Chris, and stayed at their house. The rooms are not large, but very comfortable and quiet. The lounge makes up for the room. But Shona was the shining feature of our... More

It's the hosts that make a B&B for me, and you won't get better than Shona & Chris. Very welcoming and friendly, they clearly enjoy what they do, and are genuinely helpful, even accommodating my little quirks as a solo cyclist of recharging my bike lights and cleaning my water bottle then storing my bike safely away at night -... Excellent B&B with incredibly nice host. Two rooms, each with private bathroom, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Shona was very welcoming, it wasn't a problem that we arrived shortly before 10 pm due to a delayed ferry. The breakfast she cooked for us was excellent, and we appreciated very much that we were able to have it at 9:30am -... More

We stayed one night at Shona's, who welcomed us very warmly with delicious homemade cake and a cup of tea. The whole place is very homey, the room was not big but it was very comfortable. Shona gave us good advices about what to see and do, and the surrounding area, especially Luskentyre Bay, is breathtaking.

We unfortunately only had 1 night here, but it couldn't have been better. Shona supplied us with a tray of tea and lovely snacks when we arrived from a rainy ferry crossing, and the room was large and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was great, and set us up nicely for a day exploring Harris and Lewis. Would highly recommend... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and found it a good location for seeing the Hebrides. We had a very warm welcome from Chris, he coped superbly in Shona's absence and couldn't have done more for us. Very comfortable room and good to have a nice lounge to sit in if we wished. Lovely home-made oatcakes! Recommend the home-cooked takeaway... More

My family and I used this as our base for a few days of doing the tourist thing. The location is excellent (just google Harris/Lewis) as was the accommodation, food, local knowledge and general friendliness of our hosts. There are no negatives to my stay at this B and B, I was made to feel like it was my home.

Everyone else has already said it!!! Lovely B&B. Lovely surroundings. Lovely hosts. Visiting Harris?.....visit Shona and Chris and sample the home made oatcakes!! And while you're their don't miss St Clement's church and then have fish and chips at the Anchorage. Wish we could have stayed longer.
